The different situations that arise in society, in relation to the health part, also affect workers to some extent, this is the case of the COVID -19 pandemic that has affected all organizations in some way, such as in its utilities, in reducing personnel, in adapting new forms of work, in case it requires it and in activating health protocols to prevent contagion in its workers, this health situation that is present worldwide has had a great effect impact on people from the psychological aspect, it is for this reason of interest to carry out this research, with the general objective "to determine the impact of environmental contingency in terms of stress and general health of workers in different business sectors located in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico”, for the beginning of this investigation, the analysis was carried out on the first 97 instruments answered, which were are the Perceived Stress Scale (10 items) and the Goldberg General Health Questionnaire, with the result that 57% of the sample perceive themselves as stressed and 43% state that they have perceived some symptom that has affected their general health, as far as At the hierarchical levels within the organization, it was found that 31% of the sample with an administrative position perceive themselves stressed by this pandemic situation, and 26% of the operational position perceive stress.
The problems that arise in society, in relation to health affect workers to some extent, this is the case of the COVID -19 pandemic, which has somehow affected organizations in general, such as: in their profits, in the reduction of personnel, in adapting new forms of work if required, and in activating health protocols to avoid the spread of it in its workers, this health situation that is present worldwide has had a great impact on people from the psychological aspect, it is for this the interest to carry out this research, with the purpose of knowing the perception of the workers of different organizations in this pandemic situation, that is to say, how it has affected them in relation to stress and therefore their general health, the instruments applied were: Perceived Stress Scale (10 items) and the Golberg General Health Questionnaire. The results of this work gave us a Coronbach alpha of α = .85 of reliability which indicates that this study is reliable, likewise 60% of the population report that they have felt stress due to COVID-19, as well as 42% of the population state that they have perceived factors or symptoms that affect their mental health to some degree.
Nowadays in the organizations there are different changes, such as the demands, the fulfillment of objectives or the new tendencies of processes, in this sense the workers are affected by these changes, which are manifested in symptomatology that in the same way affects the organization, in this study two psychosocial phenomena were taken into account, which are Stress and Work Fatigue. It was carried out under a non-experimental, expository and transversal design, in a maquiladora organization, with a representative sample of 190 male and female employees, of different levels of schooling and positions. The instruments used were: The Symptomatic Stress Scale (ESS) of Seppo-Aro (1980), and the Subjective Patterns of Fatigue Questionnaire (PSF), elaborated by H. Yosithake (1978). The results of the sample were broken down into three sections: gender, type of contract and hierarchical level. The general objective was to identify the prevalence of work stress and fatigue perceived by the human capital of this organization, and the specific objectives were to identify whether there is a difference in the prevalence of work stress and fatigue in terms of hierarchical levels, both operational and administrative, and a second specific objective was to identify the prevalence of work stress and fatigue in terms of gender, female and male within this organization.
