Failure to master the basic skills of reading, writing and Counting (3M) among primary school pupils in the country is still ongoing. The performance gap of the 3M skills mastery between mainstream pupils and remedial pupils remains noticeable. The Failure of some teachers to implement remedial programs resulting in students being left behind in the learning proses. This study aims to explore the most effective language learning strategy (LLS) practices to master the reading skills for the Malay language subjects in Year 1 special remedial program in primary school students. This qualitative study uses case study design. This study uses the Searchlight Model. A special remedial teacher and a total of 20 special remedial students from a primary school in the northern Kinta district, Perak was selected by the state. Data review is obtained through observations, document review, and interviews. Data is analyzed using a continuous method of analysis. Reading skills are the main focus of research participants, the study will be able to contribute to the remedial education in mastering of Malay reading skills to provide the most effective exposure of the LLS practices in remedial teacher teaching by discovering the teaching Model of a remedial teacher.
Abstract. This study represents an inculcation of the values in the teaching of the proverb in the junior high level. There are three main objectives in this study, which is to identify the types of idioms that are available in the Bahasa Melayu textbook of form one, two, and three, to explain the meaning of proverbs that are available in the Bahasa Melayu textbook of form one, two, and three, and to analyze the inculcation of noble values in idioms taught in the Bahasa Melayu textbook of form one, two, and three. This study used qualitative methods to discuss the findings of the study. Proverb that were taken from the Bahasa Melayu textbook of form one, two, and three are inserted into the studies instrument in the form of a checklist form, named as B1, B2, and B3, to divide this checklist in accordance with the objectives set. Studies finding obtained showed that only 75% of the proverb that is implementing the application of 17 KBSM's pure value. The findings of this study are expected to provide benefits to various parties in the future.

Study is intended to observe SPB implementation in Bahasa Melayu teaching and learning in mastering reading skill in remedial class. This qualitative study used case study design. This study used the Searchlight Model. One Special Remedial teacher and 22 Special remedial student from a primary school in Kinta Utara district, Perak state were chosen as intended. Study data were collected through observation, document researches, and interviews. Data was analyzed thematically using continuous comparative analysis technique. Study results found that constructs which were derived from this study to answer problem are remedial teachers' preparation, language learning strategy (SPB) processes in teaching and learning Bahasa Melayu to master reading skill, as well as teaching aid tools and materials (ABM/BBM). Reading skill became the main focus for study participants. This study is expected to contribute to the Special Remedial education in mastering Bahasa Melayu reading skill as giving exposure to remedial teachers the most effective SPB practice in Special Remedial teachers' teaching.
