Relasi remaja-orang tua memiliki karakteristik unik karena perubahan yang terjadi sebagai akibat dari transisi masa kanak-kanak ke dewasa pada remaja. Masuknya teknologi dalam kehidupan keluarga turut berpengaruh terhadap relasi antara remaja dan orang tua mereka. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan konseptual relasi remaja – orang tua dan pengaruh teknologi dalam relasi tersebut. Hasil kajian terurai dalam berbagai konsep yang dikerucutkan menjadi beberapa temuan, seperti: (1) definisi relasi remaja-orang tua, (2) aspek-aspek relasi terkait dengan bagian-bagian yang membentuk relasi, (3) dimensi relasi yang menunjukkan karakteristik relasi; dan (4) struktur relasi yang menunjukkan pola relasi. Penelaahan riset menemukan bahwa ada beberapa determinan utama yang memengaruhi relasi, seperti persepsi sosial dalam domain intrapersonal, komunikasi dalam domain antarpribadi, dan variasi sub kelompok dalam domain kelompok. Selain itu, terdapat dampak positif dan negatif karena penggunaan teknologi dalam relasi remaja-orang tua.
Dysfunctional family is a social problem that also caused other social problems. It is important to understand the basic character of family which has social problem in order to prevent and to solve social problems. This study aims to describe the profile of dysfunctional families which have social problems. The subject comprised 92 persons (70 men; 22 women; aged 15-79 years) who have social problems and stayed in the social centers, social rehabilitation centers, or slum areas of Semarang city. Data were collected using Dysfunctional Family Questionnaire and Risk-Parenting Scale and were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the majority (51.09%) of dysfunctional families which have social problems come from low economic status, low level of educational background (21.74% fathers and 14.13% mothers finished junior high school of higher; the remaining subject went to elementary school or were illiterate); the majority of participants (69.56%) have more than three siblings. Among parental inadequate behaviors, smoking behavior was considered to bring strongly negative impact to the family members.
Career maturity is individual ability to carry out career developmental tasks according to career developmental stages, in which adolescents should be able to make plans and perform career decision-making. The problems that arise, adolescents are challenged to carry out career-decision making. The aim of the study was to assess career maturity model in adolescents which is observed from autonomy, attachment, parental social support, and self-efficacy in career decision-making. This was a quantitative study involving 262 adolescents (49.4% girls and 51.7% boys; 44.9% were 16 years old, 34.1% 15 years old, 13.1% 17 years old, and 7.9% were 14 and 18 years old) studying in high schools who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted by using Career Maturity Scale, Autonomy Scale, Attachment Scale, Parental Social Support Scale and Self-efficacy Scale. Data were analysed using SEM (Structural Equation Modelling). The result of the study shows that career maturity model in adolescents conforming both concept and theory. Autonomy, attachment and parental social support are significantly related to self-efficacy in career decision-making. Likewise, selfefficacy is significantly related to career maturity in adolescents. Autonomy, attachment, and parental social support are not directly related to career maturity in adolescents, which means that career maturity in adolescents requires more than autonomy, attachment, and parental social support. Maturity is established when those factors are mediated by self-efficacy in career decision-making.
Career exploration reflects activities conducted to collect information about oneself and potential occupations to become self-aware and understand the job market. Career exploration guides the realization of career aspirations and is thus crucial for young adults. It helps the youth make appropriate career-relevant decisions. However, it is unknown whether career aspirations mediate the links between positive parenting and career exploration activities undertaken by urban third-year undergraduate students. This study aimed to bridge this gap in the literature, and to this end, a survey was administered to 125 third-year undergraduate students attending a state university in Semarang, Central Java. The Career Exploration Scale, Career Aspirations Scale, Positive Parenting Subscale, and questions on demographic characteristics were employed for data collection. Structural equation modeling demonstrated that career aspirations fully mediated the path between positive parenting and career exploration. The findings of this study underline the importance of career aspirations in translating the effects of positive parenting into specific career exploration activities undertaken by college students. Finally, suggestions based on the study results are offered for third-year undergraduate students, parents, and practitioners.
Perawat merupakan salah satu tenaga kesehatan yang menjadi garis terdepan dalam dunia kesehatan. Tanggung jawab dan rutinitas dalam bekerja serta tuntutan masa pandemi COVID-19 membuat perawat memiliki potensi terkena burnout. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu upaya untuk menurunkan burnout yang dialami oleh perawat yang mempertimbangkan waktu kerja perawat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode riset aksi yang bertujuan untuk menyusun modul intervensi kebersyukuran daring untuk menurunkan burnout pada perawat. Penyusunan modul dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan modul, expert judgment secara kualitatif oleh lima orang tenaga ahli di bidang psikologi, revisi modul awal, uji coba lapangan dengan enam partisipan, revisi modul II, dan modul evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan evaluasi partisipan uji coba, modul mengalami perbaikan dan penelitian ini menghasilkan modul intervensi kebersyukuran daring yang terdiri dari pre-test dan tiga sesi intervensi (pembukaan, intervensi, penutupan) serta follow-up yang telah siap dilakukan penelitian lanjutan atau diimplementasikan pada perawat.
