This study aims to look at the quality of nursing care documentation at Myria Hospital Palembang. Analytic surveys are used to obtain an overview of nursing documentation as secondary data. Nursing care documents used were 105 documents by cluster sampling and measured using Q-DIO instruments, and analyzed descriptively. The results showed most of the medium quality in all dimensions, namely diagnosis as a process of 70 documents (67%), diagnosis as a product as many as 56 documents (53%), intervention as many as 66 documents (63%), and nursing outcomes as many as 67 documents (64%). The conclusions in this study indicate that 67% of records have moderate quality on the dimensions of diagnosis as a process, 53% of documents have a reasonable condition on the aspects of diagnosis as a product, 63% of records have moderate quality on the dimensions of intervention, and 64% of documents have average quality on the dimensions of output nursing. The results of the nursing process that have been obtained in this study illustrate the change or improvement in the improvement of symptoms that have a moderate quality to integrate with the nursing process. This study aimed to see the effect of education with the booklet on self-care diabetes knowledge. The method in this research is quantitative research with one group pretest-posttest queasy experimental design. The results showed that the Wilcoxon statistical test obtained p-value = 0.000 <0.05, which means a significant difference in the pre-test and post-test knowledge of 22 respondents. The average change in intervention before the intervention was 12.80, and intervention was 16.32. In conclusion, patient and family education using booklets provides a shift in knowledge of diabetes mellitus self-care. Keywords: Booklet, Diabetes Mellitus, Knowledge, Personal Care
Abstrak: Proses penuaan merupakan proses normal dan akan dialami oleh manusia, karenanya individu harus dipersiapkan mengalami masa lanjut usia. Masalah kesehatan yang dialami lansia dapat menyebabkan komplikasi secara fisik dan psikologis, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kesehatan lansia dengan program pendampingan lansia. Lansia yang memiliki masa tua optimal akan dapat menjadi lansia yang sehat dan bahagia. Program pendampingan yang diberikan kepada lansia di Gereja Protestan di Indonesia Bagian Barat (GPIB) Immanuel Palembang berupa pemberian edukasi terkait senam kaki, cara melakukan senam kaki, dan pemeriksaan kesehatan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesehatan pada lansia. Setelah diberikan pendampingan, lansia yang tergabung dalam komunitas lansia mengalami peningkatan pemahaman akan penyakit anemia, mampu melakukan manajemen stress dengan mengaplikasikan nilai spiritualitas charitas, serta melakukan senam kaki secara mandiri. Ketiga hal tersebut mampu menurunkan tingkat nyeri pada kaki, meningkatkan gaya hidup sehat, dan memanajemen stress yang dirasakan, sehingga lansia di GPIB Immanuel Palembang dapat memiliki kesehatan yang optimal. Abstract: The aging process is a normal process and will be experienced by humans, so individuals must be prepared to experience the elderly. Health problems experienced by the elderly can cause complications physically and psychologically, so it is necessary to increase the health of the elderly with an elderly mentoring program. Elderly who have optimal old age will be able to be healthy and happy elderly. Mentoring Program is given to the elderly in the GPIB Immanuel Palembang in the form of education delivery related to foot gymnastics, how to do foot gymnastics, and health screening with the goal of improving health In the elderly. After being given mentoring, the elderly who are members of the elderly community experienced an increased understanding of anemia, able to conduct stress management by applying the value of spirituality, and performing foot gymnastics independently. These three things are able to lower the level of pain in the legs, improve the healthy lifestyle, and the perceived stress management so that the elderly at GPIB Immanuel Palembang can have optimal health.
<div class="WordSection1"><p>Mentally retarded is a child who has intelligence below average. Mentally retarded children have an inability to take care of themselves, help themselves, communicate, adapt to the environment and simple skills. Mentally retarded itself has a high level of dependence on other people. Parents are one of the roles that are needed by children with intellectual disabilities in achieving their growth and development. Where the general reaction of parents when they find out that their child has special needs includes shock, shame and depression, and parents in having children with special needs usually try to reject the reality. For this reason, self-concept and parental resilience are very important in providing guidance and assistance to the child until he grows up. This study aims to see an overview of self-concept and resilience of parents who have children with mental retardation special needs. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods, the population in this study are all parents who have children aged 5-17 years, totaling 41 respondents and the number of samples in the study is 41 respondents with sample skills using total sampling and univariate analysis. The majority of self-concepts of parents who have children with mental retardation in the positive category are 24 respondents (63.2%). The majority of the resilience of parents who have children with mental retardation in the high category are 22 respondents (57.9%). Background: Bunion or Hallux Valgus (HV) is a chronic joint inflammation that occurs when the thumb toward the other fingers. The age mostly to experiencing bunions is the elderly age. Decrease of various body functions in the elderly, especially in the musculoskeletal system, can changes the body balance. Impaired body balance errors in eldery have a high risk of falling. 1 in 3 elderly who are over 65 years old experience falls every year and one of the causes is because use of high heels, shoes with slippery soles, and shoes with an imbalance between the height of the midsole and the heel. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between Bunion (Hallux Valgus) and body balance in women who use high heels. Research Methods: Using an analytic survey method with a cross sectional design. Univariate analysis describe of frequency distribution and proportion. Bivariate analysis using the Kendal Tau test. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between bunions and body balance in the elderly (p = 0.041) and 25% of bunion sufferers experienced 85% of body balance disorders. Conclusion: Bunions have an important role in body balance of elderly person. Abnormal foot shape serves the proper and correct use of footwear. Suggestion: The shape of the legs has an important role in maintaining one's body balance. Use of shoes with high heels can be avoided to prevent bunions, especially in women.
