Social media is a communication medium that has synchronization in the delivered messages, A message delivered automatically to-share can’t be dammed. So it required caution in sharing information through social media. Millenial adolescence are human with all the curiosity of new things. The need for self-existence, increasing knowledge insight, other goals to make social media as a media of choice in communicating, shared information included to look for various information whom need today who grown and lived in the 21st century grow into millenial generation where social media and the internet became part of their daily life. So that social media is functioned by two things to them. The first is as a medium to build a social network through provided accounts, and android phone connected to the internet. The second is as a medium of educational information so that they can always access educational information through an account that becomes favorite teenagers.
Media literacy are the ability to know, analyze and deconstruct media image. The ability to make audience as mass media consumer like many people could know how to use mass media and social media. How mass media do contructing every information or media content to influence audience. Media literacy teach public to choose media content which is true or untrue (hoax). The knowledge of media literacy in the education world are important. Social media situation now are unclear. Netizen as social media user is always write and spread hated speech, issues and hoax to reach popularity. Negative behavior of netizens in the social media era, such as spread of untrue news (hoax), blasphemy and slander, black campaign, and various other negative behavior that every day can be found on smartphone which is a reflection of the bad behavior. This condition is sometimes exacerbated by the role of media contaminated with political interests and double standards so that only the party supporters news who get the most benefit in their message. So the knowledge of media literacy should transmit for public in the educational world.
ABSTRACT:Land cover changes continuously change by the time. Many kind of phenomena is a simple of important factors that affect the environment change, both locally and also globally. To determine the existence of the phenomenon of land cover change in a region, it is necessary to identify the driving factors that can cause land cover change. The relation between driving factors and response variables can be evaluated by using regression analysis techniques. In this case, land cover change is a dichotomous phenomenon (binary). The BLR's model (Binary Logistic Regression) is the one of kind regression analysis which can be used to describe the nature of dichotomy. Before performing regression analysis, correlation analysis is carried it the first. Both correlation test and regression tests are part of a statistical test or known classical assumption test. From result of classical assumption test, then can be seen that the data used to perform analysis from driving factors of the land cover changes is proper with used by BLR's method. Therefore, the objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of methods in assessing the relation between driving factors of land cover change that assumed can affect to land cover change phenomena. This research will use the classical assumed test of multiple regression linear analysis, showing that BLR method is efficiency and effectiveness solution for researching or studying in phenomenon of land cover changes. So it will to provide certainty that the regression equation obtained has accuracy in estimation, unbiased and consistent.
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a degenerative disease that can be controlled with the four pillars of management. One of the pillars is compliance in the implementation of the diet "3J". This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge with dietary compliance in patients with DM in Posyandu Lansia Cempaka, Tembok Dukuh, Bubutan, Surabaya. The study design is analytic correlation with approach cross sectional. Sample research is patients with DM in Posyandu Lansia Cempaka the active come Posyandu Lansia of as many as 33 patients. The independent variable is the knowledge of diet DM. The dependent variable is a dietary compliance in patients with DM. Analysis of data using correlation coefficient with somers test. The results showed that people with diabetes who have a good knowledge of most of the diet compliance in the diet is also good. The results of the analysis test Somers obtained pvalue of 0.000 means that there is a relationship between knowledge and dietary compliance in patients with DM, with level of closeness 0,154 (0,00 <| r | ≤ 0,20) with significance of closeness that is very low or very weak. Recommendations on these results in order to develop methods of collecting data through interviews and observations to gain a more realistic picture of the data. Also developed variables that affect the knowledge and compliance such as the characteristics of respondents and family support.
Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a cause of morbidity mainly due to vascular complications. The prevention of diabetic foot problems can be done through metabolic control and foot exercises. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of diabetes foot spa measures on blood glucose levels, foot sensitivity and the ankle brachial index. Methods: This research was a pre-experimental design. The population totaled 170 DM patients and the sample was finalized at 30 respondents. The independent variable was diabetic foot spa, while the dependent variables were blood glucose levels, blood sensitivity and the ankle brachial index. The data was analyzed using a t-test and Wilcoxon rank test. Results: Diabetic foot spa in early neuropathy detection testing has a blood glucose level of t=9.523 and a p value=0.000. Diabetic foot spa also significantly affects foot sensitivity with a ρ <α (0.001<0.05) and an ankle brachial index of (ABI) ρ<α (0.008 < 0.05).Conclusion: Diabetic foot spa conducted regularly and independently can reduce the level of complications in Diabetes Mellitus patients. Furthermore, the tingling and pain in the feet can be reduced or even disappear as well as preventing complications such as foot ulcers that can often become amputations.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
