Coronary angiography measures affect patients. Murottal al-quran therapy can be used to reduce anxiety levels. Murottal works on the brain where when stimulated by stimulation of murottal therapy the brain will produce neuropeoptide substances that can pleasure and comfort to reduce the anxiety felt by patients. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of of murottal al-qur'an therapy with anxiety level of coronary before angiography patients in the Cath Lab room of Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi. The research design used quantitative with design of pre test post test with control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with sample of 20 people located in the Cath Lab Room of Raden Mattaher Jambi and data collection using ZSAS questionnaire processing data using paired T-test and Independent T-test. The mean value of anxiety intervention group before murottal therapy is 62.80 (moderate anxiety) and after murottal therapy was reduced to 49.20 (mild anxiety). Whereas the control group before murottal therapy was given average value of 58.30 (mild anxiety) and after being given murottal therapy there was an increase to 62.80 (moderate anxiety). There was influence of murottal al-qur'an therapy with anxiety level of coronary before angiography patients in the Cath Lab room of Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi in 2019. So this murottal al-qur'an therapy can be used as intervention to overcome anxiety before patients coronary angiography.
The purpose of this study was to develop (1) the content of the teaching material for writing academic texts for universities, (2) the presentation of teaching materials for writing academic texts for universities, and (3) the use of language in teaching materials for writing academic texts. This study uses Borg and Gall's development research method. Based on this method, there are eight stages of development procedures that have been modified in this study, namely (1) preliminary study, (2) research planning, (3) initial product development, (4) initial trials, (5) initial product revisions, (6) field testing, (7) final product revision. Product testing was carried out by involving (1) experts in learning to write academic texts, (2) expert in teaching materials development, (3) practitioners' tests involving lecturers learning to write academic texts, and (4) field tests involving 3rd semester students of the Department of Language Education, Indonesian Literature Universitas Negeri Makassar, and (8) disseminating the developed products through national / international seminars. This type of research data is numerical data and verbal data. The test results of the development of teaching materials are as follows. The conclusions of this development research are the teaching materials for writing academic texts that have been developed shows that the products are classified as feasible and ready to be implemented in the learning process of writing academic texts as a guide in writing academic texts in universities. The step of utilizing products from the development of teaching materials can be used as an alternative for lecturers to teach in the learning process of writing academic texts to students, so learning to write academic texts is not just assignments and lectures. The use of teaching materials in learning to write academic texts can provide a more interesting learning experience; this has never been done so that the students will be more enthusiastic in the learning process.
Abstrak Penyakit stroke merupakan penyebab ketiga kecacatan di dunia akibat gangguan fungsi syaraf yang terjadi seperti gangguan penglihatan, bicara pelo, gangguan mobilitas, serta kelumpuhan pada wajah maupun ekstremitas. Kondisi seperti ini yang menyebabkan penderita stroke memiliki ketergantungan yang tinggi dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari pada orang lain. Permasalahan ini tidak hanya berdampak terhadap status kesehatan tetapi akan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup penderita tersebut dan menambah beban ekonomi keluarga maupun negara Kegiatan pengabdian ini bermitra dengan Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Kota Jambi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia mengenai penyakit stroke dan cara pencegahannya. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan sebanyak 30 orang lansia. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi peserta merasa antusias mengikuti kegiatan dan setelah diberikan penyuluhan mayoritas peserta telah mengetahui defenisi, penyebab, faktor resiko, serta pencegahan penyakit stroke. Diharapkan setelah pemberian edukasi kesehatan mengenai penyakit stroke, lansia dapat menerapkan perilaku gaya hidup sehat untuk mencegah terjadinya penyakit stroke.
