Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bentuk internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter anak usia dini melalui pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Pendidikan karakter bagi anak usia dini dimaksudkan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kebaikan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan pribadi selanjutnya. Pendidikan karakter bagi anak usia dini adalah membentuk mental dan karakter bangsa di masa yang akan datang. Rendahnya kesadaran dan kompetensi tenaga pengajar anak usia dini terhadap pendidikan karakter menjadi permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan dalam kaitannya membentuk karakter bangsa di masa depan. Implementasi Pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini khususnya taman kanak-kanak dimulai dengan penyusunan silabus/ RPPH yang mencakup implementasi pendidikan karakter terhadap anak usia dini. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, dengan menggunakan siklus tahapan R&D dari Borg dan Gall. Model akan diuji secara teoritik maupun secara empirik di lapangan melalui penelitian pendahuluan, pendalaman penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dan implementasinya melalui keteladanan dan pembiasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses implementasi pendidikan karakter di lembaga PAUD se-Kecamatan Ngemplak dapat dilihat dari penekanan 4 karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Empat karakter dalam pendidikan karakter meliputi karakter: religius, jujur, toleransi, dan disiplin. Setiap indikator pendidikan karakter ditunjukkan dengan strategi maupun metode pembelajaran yang mencerminkan nilai nilai setiap karakter. Metode pembelajaran yang dimaksud dapat berupa wujud penugasan maupun praktik pembelajaran serta pembiasaan sehingga nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dapat terimplementasikan. Guru memiliki tanggung jawab yang sangat penting dalam menjaga kualitas pendidikan. Hal itu didasarkan pada tugas dan fungsinya sebagai ujung tombak dalam aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas. Kelas sebagai unit pendidikan dan manajemen terkecil merupakan kunci pokok dalam keberhasilan pendidikan secara Iebih besar. Berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi guru dalam rnenjalankan kewajiban dan tugasnya terletak pada upaya peningkatan profesionalisme yang kurang diperhatikan secara maksimal. Tanggung jawab peningkatan kemarnpuan professional guru terletak pada: 1) individu guru yang bersangkutan, 2) lembaga penghasil tenaga keguruan, 3) organisasi profesi, dan 4) sekolah yang menaungi guru yang bersangkutan. Peningkatan kemampuan professional guru saat ini mcntpakan aktivitas yang berkelanjutan bukan sekedar kegiatan insidental semata. Kegiatan-kegiatan insidental yang sering dilakukan pada masa lampau kurang membawa perubahan yang mendasar dalam diri guru. Strategi peningkatan kemampuan professional dapat dilakukan baik secara individual maupun kolektif. Tuntutan perkembangan global adalah professional dalarn segala bidang termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan yang dalam hal ini dari sudut sumber daya manusia khususnya guru. Peningkatan yang berkelanjutan (continuous Improvement) akan membawa peruhahan kemampuan profesional guru secara berkelanjutan pula.
This study aims to determine the implementation of school-based management to improve the quality of education in MAN 6 Pidie. This study is a case study which is focused on one phenomenon that is selected and understood in depth. The data was collected using observation, interview and documentary studies. The subjects were principals, vice principals, teachers and school committees. The data analysis technique was carried out through two activity, namely data presentation and data verification. The results of data analysis show that the implementation of schoolbased management by the principal at MAN Negeri 6 Pidie is excellent in accordance with the policies and planning. In addition, school principal is always responding and looking for solution to every problem in implementing schoolbased management (SBM).
The purpose of this study was to determine how online learning was implemented in elementary schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in elementary schools in the Muara Enim District, in Sumatra Selatan, Indonesia. This was descriptive research and a qualitative approach was used. The research subjects were elementary school teachers. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that: 1) teachers were not ready in terms of planning and implementing online learning; 2) most elementary school teachers in Muara Enim District used the Whatsapp application in the process of implementing online learning; 3) online learning tended to be less effective because elementary school students still dependend on teachers and parents; 4) student learning outcomes tended to increase during online learning; this was indicated by the average score of students which was ≤ 70 before online learning and ≥ 90 after online learning. Teachers were still hesitant in reporting the assessment of student learning outcomes, because during online learning the teacher cannot supervise students’ completion of the assignments. For this reason, parent cooperation is needed for educating and guiding their children during online learning and so that teachers can determine the development of student learning outcomes at home. Al-Luqmaniyyah is a pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) preserving the salaf tradition. Located in the middle of a city with most of its santri (students) are college students, undoubtedly it is exposed to a lot of globalization, while its younger students remain unable to filter the profound and devastating impacts. This study aims to determine how the management of character development of santri at Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah uses the four functions of management by George R. Terry. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The results showed that Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah used the four management functions of George R. Terry in building the character of santri, including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling.
