The reality of life illustrates the low level of human concern on environment. In fact, it undeniably promotes environmental damage nationally and globally. Therefore, the ecosystem damage in various places and regions has become a serious threat to the survival of the life of the universe. Humans are closely related to nature and they have a great responsibility to protect the universe. In regard to this issue. This article provides an overview of the ideal human strategy, namely Insan Kamil, as a means of increasing awareness of our status as ‘Abdun and our role as caliph in instilling awareness of environmental love through Green Education. This study employed a qualitative approach in the form of literature study in collecting data. The result found that Insan Kamil is considered as a human who is trying to realize his status as a servant of Allah and his role as khalifatullah who has a Divine vision to worship Allah and they also have mission in maintaining natural order and prosperity of the environment. Through the approach of spiritual education, its strategy must be applied within family, school, and community. Thus, it is clear that the strategy of this Insan Kamil is not only in the scope of formal education, but non-formal and in-formal education must also have the same objective integration in order to foster awareness of environmental love through Green Education. Education was very important in human intelligence. This article aimed to describe the model of education policy analysis. This research used a qualitative approach in library studies. The results showed that the education policy model consisted of three things namely (1) formulation model, (2) analysis model, and (3) implementation model. The formulation model consists of institutional models, system models, mixed investigation models, process models, elite theory models, rational models, critical models, strategic models, deliberative models. Meanwhile, the education policy analysis model consists of a prospective, retrospective, and integrative models. The implementation model consists of top-down and bottom-up models. The results of education policy analysis used in Indonesia use more political policy analysis models based on political assumptions. Radicalism is seen as dangerous for the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. It is contradictory to Islamic values, where Islam upholds the principles of tolerance, peace, and respect for one's beliefs. Therefore, serious efforts are required from all levels of society to minimize the spread of this understanding, especially for the millennial generation. This study aims to find conceptual ideal ideas to deal with issues of radicalism through the role of (IRE) Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formal learning process at schools. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The study was carried out in Madrasa Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) Maarif Tanjung Sari Sumedang. Data were collected through an interview, observation, and discussion. The data were analyzed using the interactive analysis technique. Results of the study revealed that the Islamic Religious Education teacher of MA Maarif Tanjung Sari played an important role in stemming radicalism. Implementing 5 principles in the teaching-learning process is the key.
<p>This article focuses on an inaccurate understanding of Islam that causes hatred, anxiety, and unfounded fear of the Muslim community. On account of this view of Islam, Muslims face hostility, discrimination, intolerance, and racism. This attitude is increasingly seen in mass media propaganda that presents a partial and inaccurate view of the religion. Islam is presented as a violent belief system and is responsible for radicalism and terrorism. The media greatly influences social reality. They function as a spectacle, but they also influence public opinion on a range of issues. The research design of this paper uses literature review with descriptive analysis. The results show that internalizing the Islamic value of <em>rahmatan lil alamin</em> (“being a mercy to the world”) through the media is a solution that can rectify misconceptions about Islam. Along with the foundation of <em>amar ma’ruf nahi munkar </em>(“enjoining the good and forbidding the evil”), the value of “being a mercy to the world” can transform people into educators (<em>muaddib</em>), agents of correct information (<em>musaddid</em>), reformers (<em>mujaddid</em>), unifiers (<em>muwahhid</em>), and fighters (<em>mujahid</em>).</p><p> <em></em></p><p>Artikel ini fokus terhadap pemahaman Islam dengan perspektif yang salah, sehingga menimbulkan kebencian, kecemasan, dan ketakutan yang tidak berdasar serta berlebihan kepada individu maupun komunitas Islam. Akibatnya timbul permusuhan, diskriminasi, intoleransi, dan rasisme. Sikap ini semakin terlihat melalui propaganda media massa yang menampilkan kontroversi yang tidak benar dan parsial terhadap Islam, media merepresentasikan Islam dengan kekerasan dan radikal melalui fenomena terorisme. Kehadiran media sangat berpengaruh terhadap realitas sosial yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tontonan tetapi menjadi tuntunan yang menggiring opini publik dalam merubah sikap, pandangan, dan perilaku. Desain penelitian menggunakan <em>literature review</em> dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam <em>rahmatan lil alamin</em> melalui media merupakan solusi dalam meluruskan pemahaman yang keliru tentang Islam, yang berfungsi sebagai pendidik (<em>muaddib</em>), agen informasi yang benar (<em>musaddid</em>), menjadi pembaharu (<em>mujaddid</em>), pemersatu (<em>muwahhid</em>), dan pejuang (<em>mujahid</em>) dengan dasar <em>amar ma’ruf nahi munkar.</em></p>
