One of the merdeka belajar (freedom of learning) concepts give teachers the freedom to make fun learning. Teachers must make plans, carry out, and evaluate their learning programs independently. Teacher becomes the determining factor for the success of the learing objectives. And to find out the success of the learningprogram we need to do an evaluation. Evaluation is an important activity, which is carried out to review the success of a program to determine a decision. Teachers must have competence to conduct evaluations. The objectives of this study include; 1) to understand the concept of evaluations. 2) to explain teacher competence in carring out evaluations. The method used in writing this journal is a literature review, where research data obtained from several literary theories are processed and analyzed and then described, so that the results are obtained that in the early stages, teachers must first understand the concept of evaluation, which emphasizes the definition, objectives , the function of the principle and type of evaluation, while the competence of teachers in evaluation activities includes competence in planning evaluation programs, designing evaluation programs, developing evaluation programs, implementing, and evaluating evaluation programs. The evaluation itself requires data processing, reporting and utilization of the evaluation results.
Lately, we faced with situations that we have never experienced before. Our country has been attacked by a very dangerous virus for humans, the virus called Covid-19. Covid-19 is a virus that can be transmitted from one individual to another in a relatively short time. In order to minimize the spread of COVID-19, various policies have been put in place. The existence of Covid-19, which never end, had impacts on all aspects, such as economic, social, cultural aspects, and education is no exception. In the implementation of education, all levels of educators which were initially carried out by conducting face-to-face learning must now be carried out in a different way, namely online learning. The aims of writing this article is to explain how the impact of online learning on children's cognitive abilities during the covid-19 pandemic. This study was conducted using literature studies from various journals, and scientific writings and field observations during the pandemic. In addition, it is also done by direct participation during the online learning process. The conclusion from this article is that online learning during this pandemic has both positive and negative impacts on students' cognitive abilities.
Salah satu dampak yang paling besar adanya pandemi Covid-19 adalah dalam bidang ekonomi, khususnya pada sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Begitu juga yang dialami pelaku UMKM di Desa Ngguyangan Kec. Trucuk Kab. Bojonegoro, yang mengalami dampak penurunan omset lebih dari 50%. Salah satu usaha yang bisa dilakukan untuk memulihkan keadaan tersebut, dengan memperluas pemasaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. Kegiatan ini merupakan pelatihan digital marketing untuk pemilik UMKM Di Desa Ngguyangan. Tujuan kegiatan ini dilakukan agar pelaku Usaha dapat memanfaatkan teknologi/ internet untuk memperluas dan menunjang pemasaran secara online. Apalagi di masa pandemi akses internet yang dimanfaatkan masyarakat lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan luaran berupa akun-akun digital marketing bagi pemilik usaha, sekaligus para peserta mempraktekkan secara langsung pemasarannya. Pengabdian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode Pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan demonstrasi dan praktek langsung, serta pendampingan kepada pelaku usaha, agar pelatihan ini bisa mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Hasil pengabdian ini mendapat feedback positif dari pelaku UMKM dan menghasilkan luaran akun-akun usaha pada beberapa aplikasi digital marketing.
Learning in the 21st century emphasizes student activity in the learning process. This activity is not only physically active but also mentally active, especially active for scientific thinking. One indicator of the activity is the high intensity of students in asking questions and the quality of questions asked by students. The research conducted in Class IV MI Subulussalam Pucangsimo, Bandarkedungmulyo District, Jombang Regency, aims to analyze students' questioning skills by learning PQ4R on plant parts. This research was conducted using a descriptive research method with an observation instrument that analyzed students' questions both in quantity and quality. The results showed that students' quantitative questioning skills reached 70%, namely 17 students who were actively asking questions. As for the quality, low cognitive level questions still dominate with a percentage of 88% of all questions asked. Therefore, the questioning skills with PQ4R Learning are classified as good with the achievement of the highest level of asking questions at the high cognitive question level at the analysis stage, there is a need for habituation and improvement of high-level questioning skills so that questions are more weighty to discuss and discuss, at the end students' asking skills will also improve better.
