The high prevalence of flu and the easy availability of drugs in the market and at relatively affordable prices are one of the driving forces for self-medicating by the community. In addition, increasingly sophisticated technological advances make it easy for people to get information, one of which is drug advertisements on television that can influence consumer behavior in the selection of drugs used in self-medication. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of cold medicine advertisements on television on self-medication behavior in the community of Karang Intan District. This research method is a descriptive observational study with a cross sectional design. The sampling technique was carried out using non-random sampling method, namely accidental sampling, and the number of respondents was 100 people. The data collected comes from questionnaire data, which is filled in by respondents accompanied by researchers. Descriptive data analysis was performed by using the chi square test. The results showed that the effect of cold medicine advertisements on television on self-medicated behavior in the community of Karang Intan District has a significant p value of 0.000. The conclusion is that the advertisement of cold medicine on television has an influence on self-medication behavior in the community of Karang Intan District.
ABSTRAKRoadmap upaya peningkatan penggunaan obat generik sebenarnya sudah dilakukan pemerintah jauh sebelum resmi memberlakukan skema Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN). Akan tetapi persepsi pasien terhadap obat generik di masa penerapan JKN ini dinilai oleh banyak pengamat masih buruk. Obat generik masih dianggap sebagai obat murah sehingga mutunya diragukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi pasien terhadap kualitas obat generik ditinjau dari dimensi safety, efficacy, dan acceptability. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-analitik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, desain survey cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 150 responden. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pasien terhadap kualitas obat generik mayoritas tergolong baik yaitu sebesar 113 responden (75,3%). Rata-rata skor mulai dari yang terbesar berturut-turut safety (3,02); efficacy (2,75); dan acceptability (2,73). Seluruh rata-rata skor jawaban responden pada item-item pernyataan dimensi safety, efficacy, dan acceptability menunjukkan persepsi yang baik pasien terhadap kualitas obat generik. However, the patient's perception of generik drugs is still bad in JKN era by considering many observers. Generic drugs are still regarded as a cheap drug so its quality is doubtful.This study was conducted to determine the patient's perception about quality of generik drugs which was studied based on safety, efficacy, and acceptability dimensions. The design of this research is descriptive-analytic study with a quantitative approach, cross-sectional survey. The sample size was 150 respondents. Research of tools used was questionnaire. Data analysis was descriptive test. The results of the research showed that the majority of patients (75,3%) have good perception to the quality of generic drugs. Average score from the largest sequentially safety (3,02), efficacy (2,75), and acceptability (2,73). All of average score of respondents' answers on items safety, efficacy, and acceptability dimensions showed good perception of patients on the quality of generic drugs.
Pelayanan kefarmasian telah bergeser dari periode tradisional dan transisional ke periode pharmaceutical care. Apoteker dituntut untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik ke pasien. Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Apotek merupakan dasar dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan apotek.Wilayah Kota Banjarmasin merupakan ibukota provinsi yang mana jumlah penduduknya padat, sehingga sarana kesehatan seperti apotek sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan standar pelayanan kefarmasian apotek di kota Banjarmasin. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan apoteker. Responden ditentukan dengan metode proportionalrandom sampling berdasarkan stratifikasi dengan membagi populasi dalam lima kecamatan di wilayah kota Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas apotek (66,7%) Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Apoteknya tergolong kurang. Sisanya sebesar 30% apotek cukup dan hanya 3,33% apotek baik. Perbedaan karakteristik berdasarkan pekerjaan apoteker yang tidak penuh selain di apotek merupakan yang paling berhubungan terhadap tingkat pelayanan kefarmasian.
Antibiotics are examples of drugs that are often used incorrectly. Such misuse is often influenced by the lack of knowledge and attitudes towards the use of antibiotics, so in this study we want to know what sociodemographic factors have an influence on knowledge and attitude on antibiotic use in rural communities at Cempaka Banjarbaru District, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a sampling technique that is proportional stratified random sampling using a questionnaire. There are 380 respondents taken as a sample. Analysis data used is univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. The result of public knowledge research on the use of antibiotics included in the good category that is 58.2 % and attitudes included in the positive category that is 98.4 %. Statistical test results show that there is a significant influence between sociodemographic factors of recent education and income on the level of knowledge, while sociodemographic factors of age, sex and occupation on the level of knowledge have no significant effect. On the results of statistical tests sociodemographic factors (age, sex, occupation, last education and income) on attitudes do not have a significant effect.
Dewasa ini, pembinaan program pendidikan kesehatan dan pelayanan kesehatan di usia sekolah terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar sudah mulai berkembang. Untuk menyempurnakan pembinaan pendidikan kesehatan dan pelayanan tersebut perlu juga adanya apoteker cilik yang nantinya bisa saling berdampingan. “Aku Apoteker Cilik” merupakan suatu kegiatan pengenalan profesi kefarmasian kepada anak-anak usia dini sehingga dapat mengenal dan menumbuhkan minat kepada profesi kefarmasian. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Sungai Besar, Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan pengisian materi seputar pengenalan sosok profesi Apoteker serta tugasnya. Media yang digunakan adalah LCD, banner, alat peraga apoteker, dan perangkat aplikasi kefarmasian. Setelah pengisian materi, dilakukan juga games dan kegiatan aplikasi kefarmasian untuk mengetahui pemahaman peserta didik. Peserta didik paling aktif dijadikan sebagai maskot apoteker cilik. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat/02 September 2016 pada pukul 08.00 WITA. Rundown kegiatan diawali dialog pengantar dengan menggunakan alat peraga profesi kesehatan dokter dan apoteker. Selanjutnya dilakukan penyajian video “Tahu Nggak Sih?” seputar sosok dan tugas apoteker. Disesi berikutnya dilakukan penyampaian materi terkait dunia kefarmasian dan sosok & tugas apoteker serta games. Dilanjutkan penyajian video “Peracikan Obat” dan kegiatan aplikasi kefarmasian.
