An analysis of the results of the unified state exam in physics and mathematics and school practice reveals an insufficient level of physics and mathematics education of graduates of rural schools. Therefore, they are not competitive with graduates of urban schools when they enter most universities in the country. In this regard, there is a need to establish a center for support of physics and mathematics education of rural schoolchildren. This will provide conditions for the assuming quality education of rural school students in physics and mathematics. In this case, it is necessary to determine the main areas of the center, the features of its work and the place of distance learning in its structure. Among the main areas highlighted: theoretical, practical, experimental training of rural schoolchildren, and information and methodological support for rural school teachers in the organization of research and project activities of students. The center offers full-time, part-time, distance learning. The priority of each of them depends on the features of the functioning of a particular educational environment in the countryside. The work of the center can be organized in the framework of cooperation with the university. In this case, it is possible to teach master classes, lectures by professors, organize experimental work of students on the equipment of university laboratories, conduct an explanatory research project of students based on the university. The website of the center is an essential element of work and the basis for coordinating all activities. This allows to use of web technology, organize distance learning.
The problems of motivational and value attitude to the subjects of the mathematical and natural science cycle are defined as key at the state level. To solve
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
