The research objective was to improve the understanding and creative thinking skills of elementary teacher education college student as prospective teachers in following science courses. The research design used is to make college student groups into small groups. During the learning process, observations about college student cooperation during learning with multimedia media were carried out to assess their understanding and creative thinking skills. The results of the observations of each cycle were evaluated as material for reflection in the next cycle to improve college student understanding and creative thinking skills in accordance with predetermined targets. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive quantitative. From the results of the T-test, it was found that there were significant differences. This means that understanding of concepts and Science Process Skills increases after prospective teacher college student experience the science learning process using multimedia learning media. From the results, the average value of understanding the concept increased from 53.61 % to 89.78%. and science process skills increased the average value from 43.57 to 87.32. 92% of college student gave a positive response, namely agreeing and strongly agreeing that the science lecture process using multimedia learning media can improve science process skills and understanding of material in science subjects for elementary teacher education college student
Biology learning needs to support sustainable development. This research was a quantitative-qualitative sequential explanatory mixed research. This research aimed to obtain information about the relationship between naturalist intelligence and environmental responsibility behavior. This research was conducted in February-August 2019. Quantitative research data were obtained by using a questionnaire with a Likert scale for the variables. Qualitative research data were obtained by doing interviews and observations. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistic calculation. The data hypothesis was tested by using a correlation test with the Product Moment Pearson formula. The result of this research showed that there was a positive relationship between naturalist intelligence and environmentally responsible behavior with regress equation Ŷ = 20.331 + 0,7524X. Correlation coefficient (r) = 0.66 and determination coefficient (r²) = 43.56% meant that the interpretation value was strong. r² value means that 43.56% environmentally responsible behavior correlates by naturalist intelligence and 56.44% environmentally responsible behavior is influenced by other factors. Biology learning must have a role to be able to provide innovations related to increasing students' knowledge about the environment. This study concludes that there is a correlation between the two variables.
This study aims to develop a learning media E-Booklet for reproductive system materials to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in biology subjects for the human reproductive system. This research was conducted from December 2020 to June 2021. The trial in this study consisted of one class using the model one group pretest- posttest design. The results of the validation related to the feasibility of the media E-Booklet obtained a score of 91% in the Very Valid category. The results of the pretest and posttest scores of class XI IPA-1 students in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. This is indicated by the average value of the pretest before using the learning media, which is 33. While the average posttest after using the learning media is 87 with a Biology minimum completeness criteria value of 72. The N-Gain value has an average of 0.81 or in N Gain% is 81% indicating high category. This shows that the learning media E-Booklet material for the human reproductive system can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.
21st century principals must be leaders in technology implementation by using technology as the primary tool for transforming teaching and learning. Through technological leadership, principals can utilize the talents and potential of teachers to produce superior pedagogical methods based on information and communication technology (ICT). This study aims to describe technological leadership and the indicators that mark the principal's technological leadership style as a leadership style that must be developed in the 21st century. The study was conducted using the literature study method, where information was obtained from journals, literature books, research reports, mass media, and written sources, both printed and electronic. Based on the results of the study obtained 7 indicators to measure the principal 's technological leadership, namely: (1) vision, planning, and management; (2) interpersonal and communication skills; (3) teacher development and training; (4) technology and infrastructure support; (5) excellence in professional practice; (6) digital learning and teaching culture; (7) digital citizenship; and (8) evaluation and assessment. Strengthening the principal's technological leadership is expected to optimize the innovative behavior of teachers which can improve the quality of education.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
