Constitution Number 14 Year 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers define that teachers have a position as professionals. Professional teachers should be able to ransfer the knowledge to the students and have ability to develop themselves through scientific papers. This study aims to analyze the ability of teachers in writing scientific papers. The population of the research is the economic teacher in Pasaman Barat Regency. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to 24 samples. The results of the research show that rhe teachers have low experience in writing and publishing of scientific paper. The result shows that the teachers need tutor in writing and in publication, shown by a very high TCR value of 89.17%.
The Competitiveness of Indonesian Humans according to Business World In 2018 it was ranked 45th out of 63 countries,and meaning that Indonesian lower than neighboring countries such as Malaysia. To improve competitiveness, education is needed for the people of Indonesia. Various policies have been implemented to increase education participation. In fact there are still students who drop out of school at all levels of education in Indonesia. The research was conducted to identify the characteristics of the socio-economic conditions of families dropping out of school in the city of Padang. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 36 students who dropped out of school. Based on the data obtained it is known that students who drop out dominantly come from families with low and middle income economies. Parents of dominant students have primary and secondary education. The work of parents who drop out of school is mostly farmers, fishermen and laborers. Based on these results it is recommended that students and families shoul be have a strong commitment to the importance of education so that they can improve family conditions so that they can emerge from the vicious circle of poverty.
This research aims to determine and analyze the effect of student interest and discipline on learning outcome of economic subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Utara. This type of research used is ex post facto, the population used is all students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Utara totaling 96 students with a sample of 78 students taken using proportional random sampling Technique. In this study, the instrument used was a questionnaire with Likert Scale model. The instrument validity uses the collected item-total correlation and for reliability testing uses the alpha coefficient formula. The analysis prerequisite test used is the normality test, multicoloniarity, heteroscedasticity test. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique using SPSS 20. The results of the study showed that: (1) Student’s interest in learning had a significant effect on learning outcomes of economic subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Utara (2) Student discipline had a significant effect on learning outcomes of economic subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Utara (3) Interest in learning and student discipline have a significant influence on Economic Learning Outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Utara.Keywords : interest to learn, student discipline, student learning outcomes
This study aims to analyze: 1) the influence of student perceptions about the ability to teach PPLK students on student learning outcomes on economic subjects. 2) the effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes on economic subjects 3) the influence of student perceptions about the teaching ability of PPLK students an d learning motivation to wards student learning outcomes on economic subjects. The population of this study was all students of class X in 10 N SMA in 2017/2018. A sample of 158 people with a sampling technique in the form of a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) students' perceptions of the teaching ability of PPLK students had a significant positive effect on student learning outcomes on economic subjects. (2) learning motivation has a significant positive effect on student learning outcomes on economic subjects. (3) the perception of the teaching ability of PPLK students and the motivation to learn together together have a significant effect on the variables of student learning outcomes on economic subjects .Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Student Perception Regarding the Teaching Ability of PPLK Students and Learning Motivation
This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on member's participation of student cooperative of Universitas Negeri Padang. Service Quality is measured by Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy and Physical Evidence. This research is a descriptive research using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis, the population is active members of student cooperative of Universitas Negeri Padang. Data were collected using questionnaires. The results of the research indicate that there is no influence between each dimension of Service Quality to participation of cooperative members, so to increase the participation of cooperative members, cooperative management can do other things that are not related to the quality of service.
