Purpose of the study: We analyze the specifics of modern information wars and their impact on the spiritual sphere of Russian society. The innovative technologies of modern information warfare have a huge destructive potential. These technologies have an impact on the minds of people and may change their value orientations, impose alien cultural systems and destructive ideas forming models of social behavior. All that determines the need to study the main spiritual security threats that faces Russian society and strategies to resist them. Methodology: The methodological basis of the study is the concept of the information society, which allows understanding the specifics of new information reality. The risk logical approach is methodologically significant for the study of threats associated with the new information reality. All that gives an opportunity to analyze the new social spiritual security threats associated with development and operation of new information technologies. The theory of information warfare is conceptual for the study, as it considers the modern ways and means of information impact on individual and social consciousness. Information warfare is treated as a new type of geopolitical confrontation in the modern world. Results: The study concludes that in the context of modern geopolitical confrontation, the spiritual sphere of Russian society becomes one of the main objects of destructive information impact, manifested in the devaluation of traditional cultural values, introduction of Western liberal ideas, spread of mass culture and consumerism ideology. Such a destructive information impact leads to atomization of society, to a socio-cultural split on social, intergenerational and ethnocultural grounds. Substitution of the national spiritual and moral tradition with the values of Western mass culture leads not only to destruction of historically developed social behavior models but to reformatting the cultural code of society. Applications of this study: The results allow us to understand the destructive potential of information impact on spiritual sphere of Russian society and the need to develop an effective strategy to resist information threats that undermine the foundations of Russian statehood. The limiting strategy of information risks should include not only legal measures implemented by the state, but social reflection on the principles of transparency, borders, and mechanisms of its compliance and, above all, the mechanisms of protection from destructive impact of information for the individuals. Novelty/Originality of this study: The spiritual sphere of Russian society is characterized by extreme instability and lack of ideas, able to integrate it. The society faces a crisis evidenced by such trends as the mutual alienation of society and state, political indifference of citizens; weakening of social solidarity, ethnic tension, underdevelopment of civil society institutions. The main survival condition for the Russian society in new historical realities associated with globalization of the information sphere is restoration of stable spiritual life, preservation of the value-ideological core, formation of ideology shared by the majority of citizens.
This paper discusses some of the basic philosophical concepts-the concepts of "space and time"-and their relation to social evolution. The work presents the characteristics of social forms of space and time, shows the specifics of their formation in connection with human activity and the system of social relations. It was found that time duration has different manifestations in the context of historically different cultural epochs. Acceleration of social time takes place in the course of human historical practice development. Meanwhile, some social systems sometimes take the form of a certain deceleration in time. This usually occurs because of the inadequacy of the control system for the capabilities of the social organism. Social space is primarily connected with the dynamics of changes in social bonds and relationships. In the process of historical formation of social systems, social space assumes a more complex structure and expands. In the period of globalization growth, social space takes the form of a truly global integral system.
This paper problematizes the current state of historical memory and cultural immunity as a cross-development trend in the field of education, noting that sociocultural thought has focused on understanding of historical memory and cultural immunity as parallel processes, and the transformation of the culture of education is described in relation to a new information reality, which gives rise to the dehistorization of the field of education. The author of the paper believes that the adoption of social and resource methodological schemes brings hope to get the answers for the two important aspects: first, cultural space of the educational society in the analysis of the effects of the wearable information technologies, and, in this regard, the degree of influence of historical memory and cultural immunity, second, the aspect that can be described as “specific” in the educational culture of Russian society, in which the “language” of globalization is translated into the culture-historical context of national education.
Formation and development of nations is a historical process accompanied by the constant transformation of nationalist ideologies, which often represent a reaction to the processes of globalization. In the acceleration period of globalization processes, there deepens the ethno-cultural dimension of nationalistic ideologies, which determines the purpose and novelty of this study. The classical works of constructivists (E. Gellner, E. Hobsbawm, B. Anderson, etc.) and primordialists (A. Smith, etc.) provide the methodological basis for the study of transformation of nationalism and its ethnocultural components in the context of globalization. Within the framework of the constructivist approach, nationalism can be interpreted in the spirit of the creation and development of modern civilized nations. Primordialism gives grounds to consider the nation through the prism of its ethnic roots and ethno-cultural features. The socio-philosophical approach of the Russian author Zh.T. Toshchenko, aimed at analyzing the ethnocratic aspects that form the essence of most nationalist ideologies, is methodologically significant for the study of Russian nationalism transformation specifics. The analysis of nationalism revealed that this phenomenon arises from the idea of creating and developing a modern nation and is closely related to the approaches of understanding and interpretation of this socio-political phenomenon. It is also impossible to separate it from the ethnic and cultural aspects in one form or another involved in the process of nationbuilding. The article reveals that there can be quite acceptable and even historically contingent forms of nationalism associated with its patriotic content, which, for example, can serve as a resource for mobilizing the population in acute international conflicts and large-scale wars.
