The main directions of adaptation of foreign students to study in Ukraine are analyzed, and the modern format of humanization of education of foreign students in economic universities is considered on the example of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. Our experience shows that the study of foreign students at the Economic University is based on a typical scheme that is typical of all nonhumanitarian institutions in Ukraine. The research work and cross-cultural component in the study of Ukrainian as a foreign language play an important role in the adaptation and training of economics students. The article analyzes the linguistic component of the professional education of foreign students in the course "Ukrainian as a foreign language." Identified problems, perspectives and given practical advice to improve the work with foreign students in an economic institution in the initial stage of language acquisition. The differentiated approach in the system of assessing the knowledge of CIS students is analyzed separately.
The article is devoted to the problem of the influence of comprehensive dictionaries on the formation of the person's linguistic competence. The article deals with the issues of actualization of vocabulary in the Ukrainian language at the end of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century. An analysis of the actualized words was conducted in a functional aspect on the materials of the newest general dictionaries of Ukrainian language.
The article considers the importance of using lexicographic material in the process of language training of students-economists. It describes in detail the process of lexicographic actualization of individual lexical units of socio-economic sphere on the basis of comparative analysis of the registers of comprehensive dictionaries of the beginning of the XX century -the beginning of the XXI century.
