The article presents the results of a study of plasma donors as an agent of information impact in a pandemic situation. The key problem is the need to socially advance anti-pandemic measures in the face of poorly managed social responses to the fight against a pandemic. The analysis of the research results demonstrates a sufficiently high level of rational critical thinking of plasma donors in relation to being informed about the pandemic and combating it. It is concluded that the fixed position of plasma donors in the information space creates a stable foundation for the effective inclusion of this group in the processes of information support of anti-pandemic measures.
The article examines how the processes of individualization (which in the modern world lead to many social changes, including lifestyle changes) alter the attitude to the need to start a family. Such processes also lead to the emergence of such phenomenon as "solo-living", but the analysis of the existing studies has shown that the growth of singles has not been researched in global comparative studies. The authors analyze how the problem of singles' growth in East Asian countries (with the focus on Japan, China and South Korea) is considered. Asian studies show that the lifestyle of single people is dictated by several reasons: lack of free time due to work (imbalance between work and life outside it), opposition of young people to official policies of their countries (social policy is aimed at supporting family traditions) and support for such lifestyle by marketing companies (the market is increasingly focused on singles in these countries). Prospects for further research include considering confrontation of social policies of the states and market policy on the issue of solo-living and the analysis of local studies of solo-living.
This article examines the state of uncertainty and the large number of social groups with limited vital resource and low status, as the characteristics of the Ukrainian society, which are updated by the attention to adaptation approaches to the analysis of life strategies and the search for the answer to the question: which system of value orientations makes a successful internal and external adaptation to existing conditions and social changes, when the possibility of long-term planning is limited.
In connection with the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the relevance of information promotion of anti-pandemic measures is becoming more urgent. Public opinion on these measures is mixed; there is an active movement of the socalled anti-vaxers. The article explores the possibility of involving a group of plasma donors as potential opinion leaders in the informational promotion of measures to combat the pandemic. To determine the potential of this group in promoting measures to combat the pandemic, it is necessary to find out their attitude to these measures and assess the prospects for promoting these measures. The article presents an analysis of the results of a sociological survey of plasma donors (n = 542). 25% of respondents consider mass vaccination the most effective anti-pandemic agent, 21% -mask regime, 20% -disinfection of transport and public places. Most of the respondents believe that information from scientific research can convince people to vaccinate, and 12% are counting on a wide information campaign. The results of the pairwise correlation and the constructed classification tree show that slightly more than a third of the respondents can act as the core of the information promotion of mass vaccination and other measures to combat the pandemic: these are plasma donors with completed secondary or higher education, who are 1) guided by the opinion of medical professionals and WHO representatives and are 2) optimistic assess the readiness of their environment for vaccination.
