The agricultural production and agro-industrial sector are two major industries, the performance of which has an impact on the living standard of the population in different countries. The high quality of production in the agro-industrial sector determines both the availability of food for the population and the food security of the country. Taking into account that the most developed countries and countries with the transitive economy have already overcome the problem of food deficiency, and that still this problem exists in developing countries, this article suggests using a traditional tool for the quality management (Deming Cycle or PDCA), complemented by a strategically oriented approach. The main findings of the article are as follows: Firstly, the problem of food sufficiency is solved in the global economy in a different way; the majority of population in developing countries does not have access to good quality food. This has a negative impact on their vital activities, as well as on the overall socioeconomic development of such countries; Secondly, the use of complicated management tools for steadily improvement of the production quality in the agro-industrial sector of developing countries is not always feasible from scientific and practical points of view. The complication of the tools does not involve the solution of the problem; Thirdly, a traditional quality management tool, known as the Deming Cycle or PDCA, has a significant potential for use even now. This article provides a strategic approach to the use of the Deming Cycle (PDCA) to solve the problem of deficiency and low availability of good quality food supplies in developing countries.
The possibility of pursuing effective client policy in the context of marketing concept of the commercial bank's development strategy is considered. Hence, the goal of this study is to summarize the principles of effective client policy and offer solutions for the problems arisen while establishing the above. The general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, economic-statistical methods and methods of abstract-logical judgments have been used. The article reveals the problems of establishing principles of effective client policy in the bank: terms and conditions of banking products become less attractive, the probability of prolonged individual deposits by the population falls, and the number of opened credit lines and contracts for enterprises and organizations classified as small businesses also decreases. The evaluation of the measures taken has showed their insufficiency for making the bank leading and innovative under the current conditions of global competition. The evolution of the marketing concept as a part of the commercial bank's development strategy is described historically and in terms of foreign experience. Their advantages and disadvantages are noted. The use of the marketing concept through the specificity of the marketing task is grounded: sales of banking products to both clients and sellers. Based on the research, it has been concluded that the regional bank needs to work through all the elements of its marketing strategy to effectively promote its products on the market.
Aeromonas hydrophila is a cause of Motile Aeromonad Septicemia (MAS) disease in freshwater fish, which is often endemic and causes significant losses in a freshwater fish farming business. Aeromonas hydrophila belongs to the group of gram-negative bacteria and has a complex cell wall consisting of three layers, namely the outer layer in the form of lipoprotein, the middle layer in the form lipopolysaccharide and the inner layer in the form of peptidoglycan. GC-MS analysis of ethyl acetate extract of Nauclea subdita leaves was assayed in silico. Seven compounds from GC-MS analysis have potential as glycosyltransferase peptidoglycan inhibitors with highest probability of being active. Peptidoglycan glycosyltransferases play a role in the cell cycle, cell shape, and cell wall. In this study, we conducted a molecular docking of seven compounds for peptidoglycan glycosyltransferase. Binding Affinity Energy (Kcal/mol) of seven compounds was better than beta-lactam as a comparative control. The seven of fourteen compounds found also adhere to Lipinski’s rules on five criteria to indicate these compounds being safely used as oral drugs.
Digital development of the global economy has increasingly severe implications for business, society and State. The so-called digital transformation (DX) has already turned from a scientific paradigm to reality, adjusting the development strategies of entire states, changing the face of social infrastructure and reformatting business processes. The market participants now face serious challenges: how to build their own business model and how to find their place in the digital ecosystem of the nearest future, drawing on digital technologies. That is precisely why the research and approbation of approaches to building an information model of a digital corporation are not only topical, but also very timely. The article provides an overview of several important studies in the field of DX, along with a comparative analysis of classical and digital models of corporate governance; it also shows the potential for the development of the CPM concept (Corporate performance management) considering the DX requirements and the advantages of the evolutionary planning approach. The authors present the paradigm of building information and analytical systems for digital corporation management with the use of advanced business intelligence based on dynamic intellectual models. The article describes examples of real projects on the development of support systems for decision-making in terms of marketing and financial management, including business effects from the use of similar systems.
The purpose of the article is to determine new possibilities and tools for corporate strategic management and to substantiate the necessity for their usage for supporting a company's competitiveness and economic effectiveness in modern Russia. The information and analytical basis of the research consists of the materials of the Report on global competitiveness for 2016-2017, prepared within the World economic forum. For verification of the offered hypothesis, the methods of deduction, induction, synthesis, systemic, problem, and structural & functional analysis, as well as analysis of causal connections, and the methods of modeling and formalization were used. Because of the research, a conclusion is made that imperfection of the process of strategic management is a reason for low competitiveness and economic effectiveness of modern Russian companies. To solve this problem, the authors substantiate the necessity for applying the principle of interactivity, which supposes consideration of new possibilities and usage of leading tools in the process of corporate strategic management and develop the recommendations and offer an interactive model for strategic management of a modern company in modern Russia for the purpose of supporting high competitiveness and economic effectiveness of domestic entrepreneurship.
