The performed study is devoted to the analysis of the effect of mesodiencephalic (MDM) therapy and normobaric hypoxia on the carbohydrate and lipid metabolism in the complex rehabilitation of patients with post-COVID syndrome. It has been shown that the metabolic potential of MDM therapy is more pronounced than that of hypoxic training, and with the combined use of these factors, the therapeutic effect is significantly enhanced. This phenomenon is explained by the involvement of the body in the response reaction to the effects of various functional systems, while a supraaditive type of synergistic interaction of physical factors is noted. It is proved that one of the factors limiting therapeutic effect is the presence of metabolic syndrome in patients. The use of MDM therapy makes it possible to increase the sensitivity of the body to the action of insulin, while the regression of the insulin resistance index correlates with an improvement in well-being. At the same time, the formation of adaptive type reactions is recorded, which is confirmed by an increase in the activity of glucocorticoids. The combined use of physiofactors helps to reduce the manifestations of oxidative stress.
In article the main achievements in a problem of studying of mechanisms of treatment-and-prophylactic use of drinking mineral waters are analysed. The important role of their nonspecific influence due to existence of a stressorny component, activation of digestive organs and increase in products of gastrointestpnalny and pancreatic hormones is proved. Increase in activity of enteroinsulyarny interrelations at intake of mineral waters provides optimization of the broken metabolic reactions. It is revealed that against the background of course intake of mineral waters the resistance to insulin due to optimization of hormonal and receptor interaction decreases. The role of activization of pro-oxidatic reactions in improvement of sensitivity of fabrics to insulin is discussed. Various methods of increase in medical potential of mineral waters due to change of algorithms of their use, enrichment are analyzed by vitamins and phytodrugs, nanoparticles of metals. The scheme of realization of biological potential of mineral water at its internal reception is offered.
The article analyzes the mechanisms of the effect of low-frequency electrostatic field (LESF) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), as well as their combined use, on various functional systems in patients with metabolic syndrome under placebo control. It was found that LESF activates the microcirculatory-tissue system, while TMS optimizes the hormonal regulation of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, with both physical factors having approximately equal antithrombolytic and hypotensive effects. When used together, the biological potential of these factors is summed up. The revealed patterns were confirmed in patients with post-COVID syndrome. In addition, they showed a decrease in the activity of inflammatory processes, an improvement in blood oxygen saturation and a decrease in the severity of depression. It is concluded that it is advisable to use these technologies to correct metabolic disorders and increase the effectiveness of the treatment of post-COVID syndrome.
The paper analyzes the dynamics of indicators characterizing the state of various functional body systems in patients with metabolic syndrome with the combined use of transcranial magnetic therapy and low-frequency electrostatic field in order to identify the main predictors of effectiveness. It was found that with such exposure, against the background of a significant increase in clinical efficacy, the degree of variation of dynamic changes increases, which is due to the difference in the initial condition of patients. It was revealed that the most pronounced therapeutic effect is observed in patients with preserved reserve and adaptive capabilities in the system of hemostasis, lipid peroxidation, micro-circulatory system and insulin regulation of glucose metabolism.
Glucagon is one of the main hormones that regulate energy production, but its role in the implementation of the therapeutic and preventive potential of drinking mineral waters has not been sufficiently studied. Many of the effects of glucagon are related to the insulin supply of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and insulin takes an active part in the mechanism of action of mineral waters on various functional systems of the body. In an experiment in healthy animals, the stimulating effect of medium-mineralized water on the secretion of glucagon and the concentration of lipid precursors of enegretic metabolism was proved. It was found that activation of reparative processes and inhibition of acidic gastric secretion in rats with experimental gastroduodenal ulcer are associated with an increase in glucagon secretion under the influence of course intake of mineral water. It was found that in the case of metabolic syndrome, rats develop circadian rhythm disorders in the system of glucagon regulation of energy-homeostasis, which can be compensated by internal intake of mineral water. The hypothesis about the stimulating effect of drinking mineral waters on the interconnected insulin-glucagon regulation of the energy supply of sanogenetic reactions is analyzed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
