Introduction: Sleep disorders and primary headaches (NKP) is a common disease in the community and both relate reciprocally. Some of the factors associated with the onset of primary headache include poor sleep quality, fatigue, change in temperature. Coastal communities are groups of people who have high risk factors for developing such disorders. This study aimed to explore the relationship between quality of sleep and primary headaches in coastal communities in Nusalaut which never held backward.

Methods: Data was collected by using a cross sectional study conducted in communities in Nusalaut amounted to 190 people with data retrieval techniques cluster random sampling. Quality of sleep was assessed by The Pitssburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), while primary headache was assessed by questionnaire and Ong BK KH HO-C. Descriptive analysis to determine the characteristics of the subject while the correlation between sleep quality with primary headache is done by Spearman correlation test.

Results: The results showed there is a significant association between factors such as gender, age and type of work with quality bedding and primary headaches while between quality of sleep and primary headaches do not have a meaningful correlation with the strength of the correlation was very weak (p = 0.323).

Conclusion: there was no significant correlation between quality of sleep and primary headaches.

Background: Cigarette smoke is a source of free radicals that could cause lung damage. Honey and N-Acetylcysteine have antioxidant effects that could play a role in preventing lung damage. Objective: This study aims to compare the effects of honey and N-Acetylcysteine on lung histological features of mice (Mus musculus) after exposure to cigarette smoke. Methods: This research is an actual experimental study with post-test only control group design. There were 25 adult male mice selected and divided into four groups, i.e., the standard control group (not given exposure or treatment); the negative control group (received 0.2 mL of aqua bidest and exposure to cigarette smoke); the first treatment group (received 0.2 ml of honey and exposure to cigarette smoke); the second treatment group (received 0.2 mL of N-Acetylcysteine and exposure to cigarette smoke). The treatment was carried out every day for 21 days.Result: One way ANOVA statistical test showed significant differences between the experimental groups (p<0.001). Mice in the group that was only received aqua bidest (negative control group) had the highest percentage of lung damage (76.6%) compared to mice from other groups. The lowest percentage of lung damage was found in the treatment group that received NAC (26.6%). Tukey test showed no significant differences in the lung damage between honey and N-Acetylcysteine groups (p=0.685).Conclusion: Honey and N-Acetylcysteine demonstrated some protective effect against lung damage of mice as a result of cigarette smoking exposure. Further research is recommended by extending the treatment time, increasing the exposure to cigarettes smokes per day, as well as varying the dose of honey and N-Acetylcysteine administered
Treatment of choice and standard of care is surgical resection of the tumor. Nasopharyngeal angiofibromas receive an abundant blood supply mainly from the external carotid branches and partly from the internal carotid artery branches. Many patients are treated with preoperative embolization to minimize the risk of intraoperative hemorrhage and related complications . This retrospective study, we obtained analysis of the medical and imaging records of 11 patients with pathologically proven juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma. Who we performed preoperative endovascular embolization between January 2019 until Desember 202 in Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital, Makassar, Indonesia. The procedure was carried out using a cathlab monoplane Philips. A total 11 patients (only 1 female) with juvenile nasopharynx angiofibroma underwent endovascular embolization from 2019-2021 in Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital Makassar. Arteriography examination in patients with angiofibroma tumors revealed that the feeding arteries originate from the internal maxillary artery, ascending pharyngeal artery, fascial artery, middle meningeal artery and branches of the internal carotid artery. Identifying the feeding artery before embolization is very important to facilitate the embolization process
Pendahuluan.
