Dysmenorrhoea is one of the most common gynecological problems affecting more than 50% of women and causes an inability to perform daily activities for 1 to 3 days each month. One of the management of pain during menstruation is by relaxing deep breaths, namely by teaching clients how to do deep breaths and how to exhale slowly so as to reduce pain intensity and also increase lung ventilation and increase blood oxygenation. The purpose of this community service is to provide training to nursing students on deep breathing relaxation which can reduce menstrual pain (dysmenorrhoea). Deep breath relaxation training is carried out through the pretest stage, the training stage and the post test. There are 42 students who were given training in community service, namely nursing students from the 2016 and 2017 Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. The degree of dysmenorrhoea pain at the time of the pre test was mild pain 0% moderate pain as much as 81.0% and severe pain 19.0%. 9% and severe pain 19.0%. Based on the results of the training, it showed that most female students stated that this training was very useful because they gained knowledge and understanding of overcoming menstrual pain, after doing deep breathing relaxation students felt a decrease in dysmenorrhoea pain.
Syncope is a temporary loss of consciousness consequence hypoperfusion cerebral global transient characterized with onset fast, duration which short and recovery spontaneous. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of Adolescent Red Cross (PMR) students in first aid for handling syncope at SMA Negeri 1 Telaga Biru . This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method with a sample of 20 respondents obtained by using consecutive sampling technique. The results showed that 16 respondents lacked knowledge and 4 respondents had good knowledge. It can be concluded that this shows that the level of knowledge of Adolescent Red Cross (PMR) students in first aid for handling syncope is still in the poor category.
Triage merupakan suatu kegiatan memilih dan memilah pasien yang akan masuk ke Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD), dari proses memilih dan memilah pasien yang masuk ke Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) akan di kategorikan kedalam pasien true emergency dan false emergency. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan ketepatan penilaian triage dengan tingkat keberhasilan penangan pasien di ruang Instalasi Gawat Darurat IGD RSUD DR. M.M. Dunda Limboto. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional dengan rancangan Cross Sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Total Sampling dengan 28 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketepatan penilaian triage yang baik pada pasien di Instalasi Gawat Darurat dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan penanganan. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai p value = 0,001 (>0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan ketepatan penilaian triage dengan tingkat keberhasilan penanganan pasien di Instalansi Gawat Darurat RSUD MM Dunda Limboto.
Preparedness is the activities that implemented to anticipate disaster through organization also through appropriate and efficient steps. The role of nurse is as the health service officers, manager of nursing services, and in educational institutions as educators, researchers, and nursing developers. The objective of research was to determine the relationship between preparedness with the role of nurses in pre-disaster management at Tibawa health centre. The method is Cross Sectional research with correlation research design. The samples are 21 respondents. The instrument used questionnaire and interviews. Technique of analysis data used chi square test. The result showed the nurse’s preparedness with ready category with less of nurse’s roles are 3 respondents and good roles are 8 respondents (38,1 %) while nurse’s preparedness with less ready of nurse’s roles are 9 respondents (28,6 %) and good roles are 4 respondents (19,0 %). Chi square result obtained fisher exact value was 0,001 or ρ value < α 0,05.
Disaster is the incident or sequence which threatens and disrupts people’s lives that caused of natural and non natural factors as well as human factors resulting in fatalities environmental damage, property loss and psychological impact. The objective was to determine relationship between knowledge with society’s preventions in facing flood disasters at Tolite village, Boliyohuto sub district. The design used quantitative descriptive, a method based on the philosophy of positivism. The populations used cross sectional study with sampling used slovin formula thus obtained samples are 92 respondents. Statistical test used chi-square. The significance value was p-value = 0,000 small than (p= <0,05) therefore Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Concluded, there is significant relationship between knowledge with society’s preventions in facing flood disasters at Tolite village, Boliyohuto sub district.
