Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pentingnya pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai mata kuliah wajib untuk menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi dalam menyambut Era Society 5.0 memiliki tantangan yang beragam dan sangat besar khususnya dalam membangun karakter mahasiswa yang berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, Di dalam karakter Pancasila harus mengandung nilai religius, kemanusiaan, nasionalisme, demokratis dan keadilan, sehingga dosen sebelum mengajar harus dapat memiliki dan mengimplementasikan karakter tersebut agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Strategi utama yang harus diimplementasikan di dalam pembelajaran adalah memodifikasi metode maupun model pembelajaran, sehingga mahasiswa memiliki ketertarikan dan semangat untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Seoarang dosen di dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya daring harus memiliki kompetensi profesional, pedagogik, sosial, dan kepribadian agar dapat membangun karakter Pancasila.

This study aimed to found out the challenges of ethnic diversity in West Kalimantan in the era of society 5.0; found out strategies for implementing tolerance values in the era of society 5 in West Kalimantan; and found out the implications of regional resilience in West Kalimantan.This study used a qualitative approach and used a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews and random sampling techniques, and) literature review (journal articles, proceedings articles, online news accessed on the internet, magazines and books). The data analysis technique in this study had several stages, namely collecting data, condensing data, presenting data, and conclusion.The results of the study showed that the era of society 5.0 was a challenge for ethnic diversity in West Kalimantan, due to the rapid flow of information (hoax) that developed on social media. The response was to implemented the values of tolerance in the life of the nation and state (both in the real and virtual worlds). People in West Kalimantan must be able to realized that it was very important to established a harmonious life for the sake of unity and integrity. The attitudes that must be applied were working together and not looking at differences, realizing that everyone had the same rights, respecting and respecting each other, and accepting other people's opinions, even though they had different opinions. This had implications for strong regional resilience in West Kalimantan, because it affected the existence of ideology, political stability, economic growth, harmonious socio-cultural life, good defense and security.
Dayak merupakan salah satu suku atau etnis dari berbagai macam suku yang berkembang di Indonesia, khususnya di Pulau Kalimantan. Suku Dayak memiliki beragam sub suku yang hidup berdampingan yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai toleransi, dan memiliki rumah adat Radakng atau rumah panjang yang berfungsi untuk menjalin keharmonisan antar sesama. Seiring berjalanya waktu suku tersebut terlibat beberapa kali konflik dengan suku tertentu, seperti peristiwa di Sampit. Pada dasarnya suku Dayak menjadi sorotan utama, karena memiliki masa lalu yang buruk terkait konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitaif dan metode kepustakaan. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu dengan studi kepustakaan dan menggunakan analisis hermeneutika, yang merupakan penafsiran dari dokumen-dokumen yang diperoleh oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi mulai dilakukan melalui rumah Radakng yang memiliki makna untuk menjalin kehidupan dengan penuh toleransi, kerukunan, gotong royong dan keadilan. Implikasi dari implementasi nilai-nilai toleransi tersebut dapat meningkatkan kerukunan antar umat beragama tanpa memandang perbedaan suku sehingga sangat jarang ditemui konflik antar umat beragama khususnya di suku Dayak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai toleransi melalui rumah adat Radakng dilakukan suku Dayak dengan baik, dan berimplikasi pada keharmonisan kerukunan antar umat beragama dan juga antar suku. The Dayak tribe has various sub-tribes that live side by side who uphold the values of tolerance, and have the Radakng traditional house or long house that functions to establish harmony among others. Over time the tribe was involved in several conflicts with certain tribes, such as the incident in Sampit. Basically the Dayak tribe is in the main spotlight, because it has a bad past related to conflict. This study uses a qualitative approach and library methods. The data collection technique is by studying literature and using hermeneutic analysis, which is the interpretation of the documents obtained by the researcher. The results showed that the cultivation of tolerance values began to be carried out through the Radakng house which has the meaning to build a life full of tolerance, harmony, mutual cooperation and justice. The implication of the implementation of the values of tolerance can increase harmony between religious communities regardless of ethnic differences so that conflicts between religious communities are very rare, especially in the Dayak tribe. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of tolerance values through the Radakng traditional house is carried out by the Dayak tribe well, and has implications for the harmony of inter-religious and inter-ethnic harmony.
