The writing of scientific writing is one of the efforts to develop the profession of teachers of SMA N 2 Tambang in Kampar regency. This training aims to equip teachers in terms of strategies to develop scientific papers properly in accordance with the guidelines of writing, and equip teachers in the publication procedures of scientific papers in the journal. The training of scientific writing is done by varied lecture method and practice. The lecture method is needed to explain the procedure for the preparation of scientific papers, including how to arrange classroom action research into a scientific paper. Methods of practice are needed to allow the participants to write scientific papers in the form of articles for journals. The training activities of the writing of scientific papers as a whole can be said to be well seen from the achievement of the target of the trainee, the achievement of the training objectives, the achievement of the planned material targets, and the ability of the participants in the mastery of the material. The supporting factors for the implementation of Community Service activities are the availability of experts in SMA N 2 Tambang, the enthusiasm of the participants, the support of the principal of the place of administration, and the supporting funds of the faculty.
Scientific writing training was one of the efforts to develop the profession of high school teachers N 7 Pekanbaru. The training aims to equip high school teachers of N 7 Pekanbaru in terms of strategizing the scientific papers correctly according to the writing guidelines, and equip the teachers in the scientific writing publication procedures in the journal. The training method is the percentage of resources, discussion and simulation of papers that have been prepared by the trainees. The lecture method is necessary to explain the procedures of scientific writing, including how to arrange class action research into a scientific work. The exercise/practice method is required to give participants a scientific writing for the journal article. This scientific writing training activity in its entirety can be said to be seen from the achievement of the target participants, the achievement of training objectives, the achievement of planned target material, and the ability of participants in Material. The supporting factors in this community service activities are the availability of experts who are imported to the training in SMA N 7 Pekanbaru, participant enthusiasm, the support of the school principal, and the supporting fund of the university . The Output of this activity is expected to have several teacher papers (participants) in the form of journals and proceeding that are ready to be submitted to the relevant journal. Wastewater originating from household, industrial, and public places that contains materials can endanger human life and living things and disrupt environmental sustainability. Various methods have recycled domestic wastewater. One is through the photodegradation process utilizing ultraviolet light in the photocatalytic process. Inorganic materials are semiconductors with photocatalyst activity that can absorb photons and simultaneously carry out material interface transformation reactions. The research aimed to determine the effect of adding Fe metal dopants on TiO2 photocatalyst activity in simulated methylene blue and domestic waste treatment. The precursor used was TiO2 P25 Degussa Anatase. Fe dopant was added using the hydrothermal method with variations of 2%, 4%, and 6%. The XRD characterization results show that TiO2 has a high degree of crystallinity, so the overall process of electron diffusion and electron transfer in SSPT is higher to increase its efficiency. SEM-EDX characterization results show that TiO2-Fe particles are scattered in a spherical shape with a size of less than (<)100 nm and tend to agglomerate. Test results of simulated methylene blue (MB) waste with a UV-Vis spectrophotometer at variations in mass, concentration, pH, and time showed that the addition of doping could increase photocatalytic activity and optimum conditions at 6% (F6) were used in the analysis of parameters pH, COD and TSS of domestic wastewater. The pH value increased from 5 to 6, % COD degradation was 59.17%, and TSS was 23.07%. This research showed that TiO2-Fe was effective enough for domestic wastewater treatment.
This study was conducted to examine the utilization of solid waste oil palm and SP-36 on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper on spodosols. This experiment used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 treatment factors and 3 replication. The first factor is the provision of solid palm oil consisting of 4 (four) levels, namely without the provision of solid palm oil, 10 ton.ha-1, 20 ton ha-1, and 30 ton ha-1 solid palm oil. The second factor is the administration of SP-36 consisting of 4 (four) levels, namely : without giving SP-36, 100 kg ha-1, 200 kg ha-1 and 300 kg ha-1 SP-36. The variables observed were plant height, number of flowers plant-1, shoot/root ratio, dry weight plant-1, and fresh weight of fruit plant-1. The results showed that there was an interaction effect between oil palm solids and SP-36 on plant height, number of flowers, and fresh fruit weight of plant-1 on spodosol soil. The combination of solid oil palm 20 tons ha-1 and SP-36 200 kg ha-1 was the best combination in increasing the growth and yield of cayenne pepper on spodosols and produced the heaviest fresh fruit weight plant-1, which was 68,33 g plant-1.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
