The Lampung societies have many arts and cultures, one of which is a gambus tunggal. The characteristic of gambus that are played solely and has an original tuning system. A gambus tunggal style produces a melodic tone, accompanied by chanted poems that involve new romantic romance of Lampung, or parents’ advice to their children. This ethnography study aims to comprehend how the gambus tunggal artists maintain the existence in Lampung. The study applies a descriptive method with a qualitative idea. We have interrogated and field studies to gather primary data. A purposive sampling technique was used to interview a gambus tunggal player who existed for decades. The result indicates that a gambus tunggal artist is doing a collaborative struggle to support gambus tunggal and living sources’ survival. They need collaboration to keep the existence of traditional Lampung music. Gambus players have considered using social media as a promotional strategy. The local government’s role has a tremendous impact, for example, providing an opportunity to perform gambus tunggal at various events, festivals, and many competitions. Therefore, the tourism sector is the foundation of Lampung’s traditional music. It establishes policies to serve various performing arts.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran gerak dan lagu berbasis budaya Lampung yang dapat digunakan guru PAUD untuk meningkatkan aspek-aspek perkembangan anak usia dini. Responden penelitian ini adalah 30 guru PAUD di Bandar Lampung Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Gall. Pengembangan model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ASSURE: 1) Menganalisis kebutuhan, 2) Tujuan pembelajaran, 3) Memilih metode pembelajaran, media dan materi, 4) Memanfaatkan media dan materi, 5) Memerlukan partisipasi peserta didik, dan 6) Mengevaluasi dan merevisi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan deskripsi dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan gerak dan lagu berbasis budaya Lampung yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap aspek-aspek perkembangan anak. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh suatu produk model pembelajaran gerak dan lagu berbasis budaya Lampung berupa buku panduan dan program pembelajaran.
This study describes the social behavior of childhood at Sebesi Island South Lampung, Lampung Province in 2018. This study used a qualitative research with ethnographic methods. The data were collected through observation, interview, photo documentation, and written documentation. The data were analyzed by Spradley models. The result showed that (1) Social behavior of early childhood at the Sebesi Island is formed in traditions of activities together that followed by early childhood (2) The process of formation of social behavior in early childhood through the direct involvement of children by following the traditions (3) the involvement of the community (socio-cultural) through all citizens participation and communities in providing direct example through traditional activity. The recommendations of this study are a reflection of social behavior in early childhood, especially in society life and multicultural education.
