Timbulsloko is a village on the coast of Sayung District, Demak Regency that is severely affected by coastal erosion. The coastal erosion in the Timbulsloko Village is mainly caused by the removal of mangrove areas, which has eliminated the function of the natural breakwater for the coast of the Timbulsloko Village. This study aimed to mitigate the coastal erosion in the form of structural and non-structural protection. Structurally (physically), mitigation is conducted by protecting the coastal area with the application of environmentally friendly coastal protection technology in the form of a Permeable breakwater with a Hybrid Engineering structure. Furthermore, the effectiveness of two different structure segments in damping waves from September 2020 -March 2021 will be measured. In contrast, non-structurally, mitigation is conducted in a non-physical way by analyzing the Coastal Vulnerability Index of Timbulsloko Village based on the parameters of Coastal Typology, Average Tidal Range, Significant Wave Height, Coastal Slope, Coastal Geomorphology, Sea Level Rises, and Shoreline Displacement using the CVI method. The effectiveness of the permeable structure's wave damping is determined by the initial wave height and transmission wave height measured by the ultrasonic sensor. On the basis of segment differences, the Permeable Breakwater Segment 2 with a distance between bamboo of 0.25 m has better effectiveness than a Permeable Breakwater Segment 1 with a distance between bamboo of 0.5 m. The results of the Coastal Vulnerability Analysis show that the Timbulsloko Village is vulnerable to coastal disasters, especially coastal erosion.
Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program provides opportunities for students to develop their abilities. One of the MBKM program is Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM). This program provides option for students to attend lectures at other universitie, so the student can get experience regarding new experience. However, in other hand this program causes mental burden for students who join it. This is because the credits become greater. This study evaluates how the mental workload felt by students using DRAWS method. The results of this study, the most dominant indicator in PMM at PTN is Central Demand and in PTS is Time Pressure. Students who fall into overload category are 60% for PMM in PTN and 59% in PTS. Based on the results, the recommendations that can be given are improving time management for students and review how the policies about PMM so the students are not burden of credits.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Charu Dhatri explained that there were difficulties in formulating the Cost of Production (HPP) because there were on-off workers who depended on the volume of orders. The number of workers is determined by fluctuations in orders. Therefore, workers’ wages are difficult to include in the calculation of HPP. In response, community service activities were carried out to overcome it. The solution offered to solve the partner’s problems was by providing training and assistance in calculating the cost of production (HPP). The results show that MSME production activities can run smoothly according to the plan, while partners actively participate in activities, and there is an increase in knowledge of 26.19% after training and mentoring. After that, the partner’s satisfaction through the programs and activities reached a very good level. The next hope is that Charu Dhatri’s MSME business activities will run well, healthy, and sustainably.
Program Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) is one of the MBKM program. This program allows student to study in different university and majors. It was attended by students of Engineering Faculty from UNIX in State and Private University throughout Indonesia. By participating PMM, the student have overload credits because they have to finish double credit from homebased and destination university. This condition affects the burden on students both physically and mentally. This mental burden of students has an impact on student achievement academically, so the mental burden analysis is needed. In this study, an evaluation of the mental workload was carried out using the NASA-TLX approach. The result found that in general 75% of students experienced a very high workload. The percentage of students who take PMM in State University as much as 50% is in the category of high mental workload and 50% is very high category. The percentage of students who take PMM in Private University is 25% in the very high category and 75% is in the high category. From this study, UNIX can have some consideration about providing the brief (tips and tricks) before PMM for student mental preparation and choosing the Private University for destination university.
