Buku teks pelajaran merupakan pedoman utama dalam pendidikan dan pengembangan kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat kompleksitas pertanyaan dalam buku teks elektronik kurikulum 2013 kelas IV SD tema 2 dan menganalisis target luaran pengembangan kognitif siswa. Buku teks yang dikaji yaitu buku teks elektronik terbitan tahun 2017 yang dapat diakses pada halaman https://bukusekolahdigital.com. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif eksploratif. Penelitian dilakukan denga mengidentifikasi kata kerja dan mengelompokkannya sesuai dengan taksonomi Bloom. Tingkat kompleksitas dinilai berdasarkan jumlah level kognitif dalam setiap pertanyaan, sedangkan luaran pengembangan kognitif dinilai berdasarkan kata kerja yang paling sering muncul dari seluruh item pertanyaan. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan chi-square dan korelasi Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompleksitas soal yang terdapat pada buku teks elektronik kurikulum 2013 untuk kelas IV SD tema 2 termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan dominasi kognitif level C3 dan C4. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa proporsi soal untuk setiap level kognitif dan proporsi tingkat kompleksitas soal tidak menyebar secara merata. Analisis tabulasi silang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara proporsi jumlah soal berdasarkan target kognitif dan tingkat kompleksitas. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kata kerja yang teridentifikasi berkaitan erat dengan jumlah pertanyaan dalam setiap level kognitif. Analisis terhadap target luaran pembelajaran pada buku teks kelas IV tema 2 lebih terfokus pada level kognitif C5 dengan proses kognitif berupa “menyimpulkan”. Peningkatan kualitas buku teks diperlukan untuk mendorong pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
This study aimed to examine influence of NHT learning model using box puzzle media toward student learning outcomes on IPA subjects class IV SD Muhammadiyah Jetis Salaman Magelang.The research design was quasy experimental design with one group pretest posttest model. The research variable was IPA learning outcomes. Data analysis used was parametric statistical techniques paired sampel t-test. The research subject were 15 students class IV SD Muhammadiyah Jetis Salaman Magelang. The data collection methods used test questions. The results of this study indicated that NHT learning model using box puzzle media effective to increased student learning outcomes on IPA subjects class IV SD Muhammadiyah Jetis Salaman Magelang. The increase student learning outcomes was evidenced by the result of test analysis paired sampel t-test with the probability of the sign value (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,005, that mean was significant difference between before and after being given treatment with HT learning model using box puzzle media. Cognitive dimensions development is one of the objective of education. This research aimed to identify the structure, evaluate the focus, analyze the conformity toward the referred adoption standard, and evaluate the emphasis of thinking skill order of cognitive processes in the e-textbook for 4th grade students. Evaluation was carried out for the curriculum 2013 e-textbooks published in 2014, including theme 2, 3 and 4. Identification of cognitive process dimensions was carried out using revised Bloom's taxonomy, while the conformity was anayzed using Alzu'bi's preference. Statistical analysis was carried out with chi-square test. The result showed that the structure of cognitive dimensions in three examined e-textbooks were not consistent one another. Theme 2 emphasized on the high order thinking skill focused on the creating dimension. Theme 3 emphasized on the low order thinking skill focused on the understanding dimension. While theme 3 facilitated both thinking skill orders with a little tendency to the evaluating dimension. There was no conformity of the cognitive dimensions structure of the three themes toward the referred adoption standard. Statistical analysis showed that there was significant difference on the structure of cognitive dimensions between themes, and between each themes and the referred adoption standard.
The considerations for this research are (1) growing interest in reading is the duty of parents, but what forms of parental involvement are not widely understood. (2) the dynamics of the problem of parenting skills are very interesting, progressive and urgent to continue to be studied because the acceleration of the digital era requires parents to be more responsive and literate (3) there are still few studies that discuss the development of parental involvement instruments in fostering reading interest both quantitatively and qualitatively. So that developing an instrument that can provide information on the extent of parental involvement in fostering reading interest is the aim of this study. The research stages are carried out by (1) affirming the measuring area; (2) writing items; (3) testing; and (4) psychometric analysis using quantitative methods. Therefore, this research instrument uses a questionnaire prepared based on the literature review process that supports the research variables. Furthermore, the questionnaire is tested for content validity by an expert (Expert Judgment) to conduct a study and selection of items for each indicator. In this process, 40 items from 82 items were selected, as a result of this study. The trial was carried out on the research subjects, namely parents who have children aged from early childhood to elementary school with a total of 521 respondents. While the reliability test of this questionnaire shows the Cronbach Alpha coefficient = 0.941, which means that in psychomoteric analysis this instrument has perfect internal consistency. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the instrument developed can measure the extent to which parents are involved in fostering children's reading interest.
The aim of this study was to develop a product of Home Activity-Based Learning Worksheets with Utilization of Media Around Children. The research design uses the Borg and Gall R&D Model which consists of 10 implementation steps. The flow of research implementation is in the form of Research and information collection, Planning, Develop preliminary form of product, Preliminary field testing, Operational field testing, Operational product revision, Main field testing, Main Product Revision, Final Product Revision, Dissemination and implementation. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Implementation of research at SD Karangmojo, Trirenggo, Bantul. The result of the research is the creation of a product in the form of Home Activity-Based Learning Worksheets with Utilization of Media Around Children which has been tested for its validity and effectiveness.
