The main purpose for the application of science and technology for livestock group of cow, is to form a group of skilled and professional livestock, as vaccinators, can take advantage of Azadirachta indica leaves a plant insecticide, apply a good cage sanitation, can produce organic fertilizer from feces of cow, can treat hay as feed to good nutritional value. The method used is education and training. Activity results obtained, that 10 percent of members of the group have managed to become vaccinators cadres, able to implement good sanitation stables, feces of cow (Stomoxys calsitrans) can process technology with EM4 into organic fertilizer and can process the rice straw with urea spraying method, to produce feed hay to the value of good nutrition for growing cattle.
Challenges by traditional fruit market traders in Denpasar are weaknes in business management, bookkeeping administration sales strategy, buyers service, communication techniques, and rotten fruits that do not sell yet untapped. The purposes of this empowerment are to (1 ) improvement of business management, (2) increased of knowledge for traders: bookkeeping administration is the procedure of recording financial transactions and can easily perform financial analysis, sales strategy, especially arrangement of merchandise (display), service to buyers, communication techniques and transactions honest but still profitable, (3) utilization of rotten fruit that is not sold to be processed into MOL (local microorganisms) for the manufacture of organic fertilizers in the household scale. The method used is counseling and training. The results of the activities are as follows: 1) fruit trader group can already well manage its trading business.2) fruit trader group can make good administration and business bookkeeping 3) fruit trader group can make marketing strategy by arranging (display) with well, and already use Show Case for display merchandise, customer visits increased 25%. 4) Fruit merchant group can already utilize rotten fruit as MOL for liquid crop fertilizer
The present study aims at investigating the competence level of prospective English teachers through interactive lesson study which involved supervisions of teachers, lecturers, and student teachers themselves. A Classroom Action Research in the form of interactive lesson study model was conducted in four steps, namely planning, practicing, observing, and reflecting. Moreover, the research was administered in two cycles. Some instruments used in data collection were rubric of teaching practice, character checklist, questionnaire, and participatory observation form. The effectivity of approach could be analyzed based on the average scores of 30 student teachers yielded randomly in each cycle, which gradually increased compared to their pre-tests after interactive lesson study has been applied. In the first cycle, the competence of student teachers started to improve with the total score of 1730 and an average score of 58 for the attitude aspect, the total score of 2169 and an average score of 72 for the knowledge aspect, and the total score of 2198 and an average score of 73 on the skill aspect. The achievement of the students' score in cycle 1 was 68 with the medium category. In the second cycle, changes in student learning attitudes began to show significant improvement: total score of 2390 on attitude aspect with a mean of 80, a total score of 2416 on knowledge aspect with a mean of 81, and a total score of 2457 on skill aspect with a mean of 83. Student score gained in cycle II was 82 with the high category. In a nutshell, the ability of the students on their learning attitudes, knowledge, and writing skills were specified as high category with cultural attitude.
This research is motivated by: (1) low student achievement; (2) low activity of student learning; (3) learning methodless attractive, making it less motivating for studentstolearn; (4) the students sometimes difficult to understandand developa concept that they never experienced directly. The purpose of this research is to improve student achievement using process skills approach and improve students learning activities through processs kills approach. Subjects were students of second semester C English Education Study Program Guidance and Counseling Unmas Denpasar with 40 students. Data collection method used is an essay test to determine student achievement. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis methods. The research method used was action research as much as 2 cycles. Each cycle with the basic steps: planning, acting, observing, reflecting, with arevised actionis always used to find a better and accurate results. The analysis shows an increasing in learning outcomes of second semester C English Study Program FKIP Unmas Denpasar students with the initial mean 1,97 which is in low catagory, the first cycle is 2,45 in the medium catagory, and 3,125 point at the second cycle which is in high catagory, and the student learning activities with the subject of development of students are also increasing. Therefore in this class action research, process skills approach is proven that it can incrases the students learning achievment.
