Abstract. The Bluetooth scanner has been widely used as vehicle traffic detector in recent years. A new solution based on the Bluetooth scanner has been deliver to detect pedestrian traffic by estimating the pedestrian flow characteristic. The equipment is tuned to scan Bluetooth devices more frequently. Consequentially, the unique Bluetooth MAC can be detected multiple times by the scanner. The numeric simulation also suggests median detection is the chosen one to calculate traveling time. In this study, Bluetooth MAC scanning, as a non-intrusive technology, is tested in a pedestrian transfer tunnel, including antenna compatibility working within buildings. The penetration rate also increases slightly. Finally, the proposed solution offers a mature technology for pedestrian study, integrating scanner configuration, antenna selection and the traveling time calculation method.
This paper introduced Visual Basic as development platform, integrated GPS and GIS technology to develop the Orienteering training Monitoring and control system based on MapX control component and MSComm control component. This system mainly realizes the athletic field environment parameters setting, real-time dynamic data acquisition, Orienteering Athletes Training in the running state (speed, direction, position) in the electronic map dynamic real-time display and other functions. The system will help improve the scientific training in Orienteering.
The Orienteering of the activity in the field of professional psychology, technical and physical demands and people to cope with the sudden disaster events are very similar. Therefore, by learning and training the Orienteering, can improve people's ability to survive, to escape the disaster.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
