The emergence of the analytic philosophy of language that developed by Ludwig Wittgenstein focused that the problem of philosophy is a problem of language. Philosophy of language as a linguistic discipline has a strategic position related to the development of language learning, including Arabic. By using library research methods, this study aims to describe the urgency of the philosophy of language and Arabic learning which resulted in several conclusions. First, in essence, language is a symbol system that is not only a sequence of empirical sounds but has a non-empirical meaning. Second, the relationship between philosophy and language occurs when philosophers most often use language analysis to solve philosophical problems. Third, the position of philosophy as the basis for analyzing language concepts and considering the central role of language in verbally expressing philosophical thoughts. Fourth, Arabic learning is in dire need of a philosophical foundation
The challenges of education in meeting millennial needs who are very familiar with technology and the internet are quite large. This is because their life experiences are different, especially their experience in using technology. The purpose of this research is to formulate a formula for evaluating Arabic speaking skills by using YouTube as an evaluation medium and seeing phenomena that emerge when Youtube is used as an evaluation medium in Arabic speaking skills courses. In this study, researchers used descriptive and analytical methods, because he dealt with a lot of information from students assigned to the class by observation and interview. The results showed that the steps in evaluating speaking skills included 3 stages, first the preparation or making of a video, then the upload stage and finally the assessment stage itself. while the phenomenon that arises when using youtube as an evaluation medium is the increased enthusiasm and motivation of students when speaking Arabic, especially when they know that they will publish it to YouTube students are more enthusiastic and serious in showing their speaking skills. with the use of youtube as an evaluation medium, it raises the phenomenon of increasing student scores, almost overall students get good grades, apart from that the videos they make can also be used as an interesting, fun, and easy learning media. In addition to these two results, evaluating speaking skills by speaking through videos uploaded on YouTube also makes the evaluation process construct valid.

The main problem in this research is "What is the effect of using a flash card media on the vocabulary comprehension of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang?". Then this research aims to know the vocabulary comprehension ability of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang before using flash card media, and to know the effectiveness of using flash card media on vocabulary comprehension of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang. The researcher used the quantitative approach by the experimental research method, and the method of data collection is the test and its tools, and the data collection method used the questions in oral and written form, and in analyzing the data with a T-test using the SPSS 20. The researcher found that the data was normally distributed and homogeneous with a significance value of > 0.05 as a requirement for the T test. The results of the research indicated that the vocabulary comprehension ability of students before using flash card means that among 30 students, 26 students were unsuccessful in the minimum scale of 80 KKM, with an average value of 62.2. Then the "T" test indicates that the result of the calculation is -38,379 that is greater than the result of the table -73,971. The result of sig (2-tailed) is 0.05 is greater than 0.000. So, the researcher concludes that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, The use of flas card is effective on vocabulary comprehension of students in the class VII MTsN 2 Padang. Abstract The term language society emerged and was developed from the term issued by Fishman (1976) about speech community. In relation to the term language society, this study aims to determine the choice of language among the Arabic language society at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang, and their attitudes towards their environmental language (Arabic), regional language (Minang), national language (Bahasa). This research is a descriptive study that describes the choice of language by a language society. The results of the study show that: Firstly, the students or the Arabic language society at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University Padang sometimes use Arabic and Minang language in class, but frequently use Bahasa in class. Secondly, the students or the Arabic language society very rarely use Arabic outside the classroom, often using Minang and Bahasa outside the classroom.
