Bawang putih (Allium sativum L.) mengandung minyak atsiri, senyawa allicin, alliin dan senyawa organosulfur lainnya seperti ajoene yang berperan dalam antikoagulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji aktivitas antikoagulan sari bawang putih menggunakan metode Lee-White dan apusan darah. Pengujian aktivitas antikoagulan dilakukan dengan melihat waktu yang diperlukan darah untuk membeku (Lee-White) setelah penambahan sari bawang putih, etanol 96% (kontrol negatif) dan EDTA (kontrol positif) serta melihat profil sel darah merah di bawah mikroskop (apusan darah). Dari hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa sari bawang putih memiliki aktivitas antikoagulan di mana pada metode Lee-White, pembekuan darah kontrol untuk tiga probandus berturut-turut terjadi pada waktu 4 menit, 3 menit 30 detik dan 3 menit 30 detik;untuk kontrol negatif pembekuan terjadi pada waktu 4 menit 30 detik, 2 menit 30 detik dan 2 menit 30 detik serta penambahan EDTA dan sari bawang putih tidak mengalami pembekuan darah (sampai lebih dari 24 jam). Kemudian pada metode apusan darah, preparat darah yang ditambahkan sari bawang putih terlihat sel-selnya berbentuk bulat dan tidak berkelompok.
Background: Urea derivatives showed good analgesic activity compared to diclofenac sodium. The addition of the allyl group to the thiourea and 4-tertiary-butylbenzoyl chlorideis expected to provide a better analgesic effect. Objective: The research aimed to synthesize 1-allyl-3-(4-tertiary-Butylbenzoyl) Thiourea and determine its analgesic activity in mice (Mus musculus). Methods: The synthesis was carried out by a modified Schotten-Baumann reaction, via nucleophilic substitution reaction of allylthiourea on 4-tertiary-butylbenzoyl chloride. A writhing test was performed to observe analgesic activity in the test compound. Confirmation of the structure of pure 1-allyl-3-(4-tertiary-Butylbenzoyl) Thiourea was obtained through UV, IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR data. Results: The compound showed better pain inhibition activity compared to diclofenac sodium, with ED5019,018 mg/kg BW. Conclusion: The compound 1-allyl-3-(4-tertiary-butylbenzoyl) thiourea showed better analgesic activity than diclofenac sodium.
The research have done to analysis of metal weigth lead (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd) at Windu Prawn (Penaeus monodon) in Beniung territorial water Tarakan East Kalimantan by Atomic Absorbtion Spectrophotometry (SSA). The research enwrap qualitative and quantitative analysis. Before to be analised, first to do destruction of Windu Prawn (Penaeus monodon) later on disolved in HNO 3 and HCl. Qualitative analysis used reactant specific and quantitative analysis used atomic absorbtion spectrophotometry (SSA) at wave length of 217,0 nm and 228,8 nm for lead and cadmium respectively. Result of research find average rates of Pb metal and cadmium letal in Beniung territorial water Tarakan East Kalimantan is 0,7636 ppm and is 0,4730 ppm. From result of research to showing that average rates Pb and Cd metal to Beniung territorial water Tarakan East Kalimantan, it is not over from sill limit and according to DIRJEN POM regulation.
