The analytical method was developed and validated for estimation of Brivaracetam in bulk and formulation by ReversePhase High performance liquid chromatography. The separation was carried out on Luna C8 (150 × 4.6mm, 5μm)column. The mobile phase consists of ACN: Water at flow rate 1 ml/min at 208nm. The column temperature wasadjusted at 30°C with injection volume 20μl. The retention time of Brivaracetam was 3.1 min. The linearity of thecalibration curve was linear over the concentration range 10-50 μg/ml. The developed method was validated accordingto the International Council for Harmonization (ICH) Guidelines. The developed method was easy, rapid, linear, precise, accurate and consistent. So, the method can be successfully applied for the routine analysis of Brivaracetam inpharmaceutical formulation.
A Reverse Phase High Performance Liquid Chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method was developed and validated for theestimation of Sofosbuvir which is a new antiviral drug. The RP-HPLC was succeeded on a Phenomenex Luna® LC C18column (150×4.6mm, 5μm). The mobile phase was effective according to the polarity of studied drug. The mobile phasewas consisting of Acetonitrile: Methanol: Water in the ratio of 50:30:20 v/v/v using at flow rate of 1ml/min. withinjection volume of 20 μL was selected for this present work. Detection was made by using UV detector at 260nm.Retention time was found to be 2.1min. The developed method was validated according to the ICH guidelines. Thecalibration curve was linear for Sofosbuvir in the concentration range of 10-50 μg/ml was good. The developed methodwas validated for Linearity, Precision, Accuracy and Robustness of Sofosbuvir drug and was accurate, precise and reliablefor the analysis of Sofosbuvir in formulation. The Relative Standard Deviation for all the parameters were found to beless than 2 which shows the validated method and results obtained by this method is with fair agreement. Hence, thisdeveloped method can be easily effortlessly adopted for routine analysis for Sofosbuvir in bulk and formulation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
