Motorized vehicles in Indonesia consist of two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheeled vehicles. The number of motorized vehicles is increasing every year. The higher the vehicle volume the higher the level of traffic violations. Every violator will be charged a ticket by the ticketing officer if the vehicle user does not obey the driving rules. The ticketing process in Indonesia is still manually using paper by writing violations committed by violators on a piece of paper. This article is an attempt to make it easier for the public and police in traffic violations. This article is designed for vehicle license plate detection applications and traffic violation websites. The plate identification process begins with taking a plate image through a Raspberry Pi-based camera or webcam. The plate image results using the Raspberry Pi camera are carried out by processing the vehicle plate digital image by segmentation methods and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) using matlab. The vehicle plate character results obtained are used as input to identify traffic violations. The form of traffic violations can be seen on the traffic ticket website. Based on the results of OCR testing proved to be able to recognize the image of the vehicle plate. Raspberry Pi based camera for long distance or wireless communication. The results from the traffic ticket website are used as evidence to process motorists who have violated traffic.
Kinerja Pegawai dalam setiap perusahaan sangat menentukan kesuksesan perusahaan dalam menggapai tujuannya. Bagus tidaknya kinerja pegawai dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal, diantaranya adalah motivasi dan lingkungan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai kantor Kesbangpol Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 27 pegawai yang di Kesbangpol Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara variabel bebas yaitu motivasi dan lingkungan kerja dengan variabel terikat yang merupakan kinerja pegawai Kantor Kesbangpol Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dengan koefesien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,296; (2) Motivasi (X1) dan lingkungan kerja (X2) mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai (Y) sebesar 87% dan sisanya sebesar 13% di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini
Technology in search and rescue has been growing at this time, especially in early detection systems. Basarnas as the leading sector in search and rescue, has used an early detection communication tool called Radio Beacon to quick response search and rescue for aircraft and ship accidents, and conditions that endanger humans. However, in its application in the field, this early detection system has not been touched by the local community, especially because the price is still relatively expensive and the socialization of the importance of safety itself has not been maximized in the community. From these problems, this paper designs a tracking device that works like a Radio Beacon where the switch will activate the Arduino device, GPS module and SIM800l module. The GPS module receives the location coordinates to be further processed by Arduino and sent using the SIM800l module to Firebase and notifications is received by the smartphone and the location can be monitored through an android application created using the MIT App Inventor platform. From the test results, it is found that the initial data transmission process starts from the switch is activated until the notification is received by the smartphone, a delay of 70 seconds occurs while in the process of repeating sending data there is a delay between 10-35 seconds from what has been set in the program looping every 50 seconds.
Pandemik Covid-19 yang dialami seluruh dunia saat ini termasuk Indonesia, memaksa pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring atau e-learning termasuk pada Politeknik Negeri Padang. Dengan kendala yang ada pada mahasiswa sebagai peserta didik dalam sistem pembelajaran ini yaitu kendala dalam mengakses sistem melalui jaringan internet dan belum semua mahasiswa memiliki perangkat komputer yang dibutuhkan dalam mengaplikasikan matakuliah berbasis pemrograman. Agar capaian pembelajaran tetap bisa dicapai secara optimal maka dalam penelitian ini dibuat web untuk sistem pembelajaran daring atau e-learning. Dari hasil penggunaan web ini 82,9 % mahasiswa memahami materi yang ditayangkan dalam web tersebut dan sebagain besar mahasiswa menginginkan materi dalam bentuk video offline sehingga dapat digunakan setiap saat.
