Pandemi Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) sudah mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan mulai dari kesehatan, pendidikan, serta sosial-ekonomi masyarakat. Hal ini juga turut mempengaruhi masalah nutrisi atau pangan yang belum banyak disadari dampaknya oleh masyarakat. Edukasi masalah nutrisi selama pandemi COVID-19 ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan kewaspadaan terhadap masyarakat sehingga dapat menanggulanginya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diadakan secara virtual melalui aplikasi Zoom kepada ikatan remaja masjid Al Rasyid (IKRAMA) Bandar Khalipah. Sebanyak 17 peserta kegiatan mendapatkan edukasi berupa pemaparan materi dan diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab. Materi yang disampaikan menjelaskan pentingnya menerapkan gizi seimbang dan gaya hidup sehat untuk menjaga daya tahan tubuh selama pandemi. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif bagi peserta karena menambah pemahaman mengenai kesiapsiagaan nutrisi menghadapi pandemi COVID-19.
Background: Basic Clinical Skills (BCS) is one of the learning methods in medical education that acts as an intermediary bridge to apply procedural knowledge and clinical competency for medical students. Medical educators have successfully used many ways to assess students’ abilities, both oral and written. Oral examinations have vast advantages compared to other assessment methods. However, no standardization of questions to be tested becomes an essential issue in the assessment process. A structured oral examination may increase students’ motivation to prepare themselves better to study the material before following BCS training. This study aimed to determine the effect of a structured oral examination on students’ motivation and identify students’ motivation. Methods: This quasi-experimental research used a pretest-posttest design to assess the effect of applying the structured oral examination on students’ motivation. The subject of this study was the third-year medical students that amounted to 109 students. Sample selection was made by total sampling. In this study, the authors used SMQ-II questionnaires to measure the students’ motivation. Results: This research showed significant differences between student motivation on pretest and posttest (p-value of 0,000) after the students were given the structured oral examination at the beginning of basic clinical skills training. It means the structured oral examination affected students’ motivation. Conclusion: The structured oral examination administered for students before entering BCS learning processes had a significant impact on the students’ motivation. The preparation and the regulation of the structured oral examination on the BCS learning processes should be reinforced to motivate the students and make them more skillful
Pendahuluan: Refleksi diri adalah proses metakognitif yang terjadi sebelum, setelah situasi tertentu mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang diri kita dan situasi yang dihadapi sehingga di masa depan lebih baik. Umpan balik perekaman video untuk meningkatkan pengembangan umum komunikasi spesifik dan keterampilan konsultasi. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan post test dengan desain kelompok kontrol. Sampel diambil dari mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara angkatan 2015, berjumlah 110 orang. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan cluster sampling dan analisis data menggunakan uji mann whitney. Mengambil data melalui pengisian kuesioner SRIS (refleksi diri dan skala wawasan). Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik perekaman video memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi dari umpan balik lisan dengan 60,13 umpan balik perekaman video dan 50,87 umpan balik secara lisan. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan analisis hasil uji statistik man-whitney diperoleh p = 0,126 (p> 0,05) angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan umpan balik perekaman video dengan secara verbal terhadap evaluasi LO. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada perbedaan siswa mendapat umpan balik perekaman video dan umpan balik secara lisan. This study deals with the improvement of students’ motivation in learning English through cooperative learning strategy assisted by attractive media. This study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Medan, which located on Jl. Mustafa. No.1, Glugur Darat I, Medan Timur. The subject of the study is the grade six of 2019/2020 academic year. Classroom action research is applied in this study consist of two cycles, in which each cycle consists of four stages; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data are obtained from both of observation and test. The qualitative data is analyzed through Miles and Huberman approach, while quantitative data is figured out through the formula . The result denotes that there are only 21 out of 43 students achieve 75 and over in cycle 1, whereas in cycle 2 there is significantly increasing number of students passing 75 and over with 43 students or 100%. In addition, learning activities become more active and creative. It is inferred that there was significant improvement on students’ motivation in learning English through cooperative learning strategy.
The physical, intellectual, mental, and/or sensory limitations experienced should not be an obstacle for persons with disabilities to have the right to live and maintain a decent life. The South Tangerang City Government has proven its alignment with people with disabilities by enacting Regional Regulation Number 18 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Disability Protection. In its implementation, there are problems in the implementation of facilities, especially facilities and infrastructure for persons with disabilities. This will have an impact on community satisfaction, especially people with disabilities in accessing public services at the Disdukcapil of South Tangerang City. Some findings in the field include that there are still no supporting facilities and infrastructure such as stairs, handrails for wheelchair users, special toilets, misused guide lanes, and no signage for special parking spaces for persons with disabilities. Alternative policies to improve population services and inclusive civil registration include revitalizing facilities and infrastructure, building additional facilities, structuring office areas, and efforts to get closer to people with disabilities in order to fulfill population services. Based on the results of the analysis, it is recommended to carry out an integrated arrangement of the office area. The recommendation was conveyed so that the principles of convenience, security, safety, comfort, health, and independence in going to and utilizing public facilities could be achieved. In addition, the arrangement of the area that is more integrated with other public facilities such as public transportation is expected to facilitate access for the community, especially people with disabilities in accessing services. Secara umum isu pelayanan bagi difabel dan disabilitas masih menjadi masalah di Indonesia. Kota Tangerang Selatan sendiri telah memulai membuktikan keberpihakannya terhadap kaum difabel dengan mengundangkan Peraturan Daerah Kota Tangerang Selatan Nomor 18 Tahun 2019 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan Disabilitas. Penyandang disabilitas adalah bagian dari masyarakat marginal yang tersisihkan dalam proses pembangunan. Mereka tidak mendapatkan tempat dan posisi yang layak dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat termasuk dalam pelayanan publik yang sangat dasar dalam bermasyarakat dan bernegara. Kebanyakan komunitas difabel di Kota Tangerang Selatan hanyalah sebagai outsider dalam keseluruhan proses pembangunan maupun dalam mendapatkan “akses”, baik itu akses pendidikan, pekerjaan maupun layanan rehabilitasi medis dan sosial. Realitas ini sungguh sangat memprihatinkan dan membutuhkan intervensi dan affirmative actions dari berbagai pihak dan kalangan. Artinya sangat diperlukan adanya peningkatan kesadaran kritis dari aksis sosial masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan professional, Pemerintah dan Pemerintah daerah Kota Tangerang Selatan serta jajarannya. Dalam proses perencanaan dan desain bangunan dan lingkungan di Kota Tangerang Selatan kaum difabel ini selalu luput dari perhatian. Selain itu para pengambil kebijakan tidak secara tegas memberlakukan peraturan yang sudah mereka tetapkan tentang aksesibilitas kepada jajaran Pemerintah Daerah dan masyarakat. Realitas yang terjadi luputnya perhatian terhadap difabel akibat kompleksitas faktor sosial, budaya, dah hukum ini maka kaum difabel hanya dianggap masyarakat kelas dua dan tidak menjadi bagian yang mampu memberikan kontribusi penting dalam proses pembangunan secara menyeluruh. Realitas yang terukur dari minimnya fasilitas dalam proteksi hak-hak kebutuhan dasar sebagai anggota dalam masyarakat yang ditinjau dari fasilitas pelayanan bagi kaum disabilitas pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil. Penulis berharap dalam penelitian ini dapat merekomendasikan saran kebijakan yang lebih berpihak kepada kaum disabilitas sekaligus memproteksi hak-haknya dalam memperoleh akses serta layanan ramah disabilitas sehingga lebih mudah untuk berinteraksi sosial secara wajar dan optimal.
