This research is motivated by the management of library management, development of book collections, supporting and inhibiting factors as well as an increase in students' reading interest. This study aims to determine the role of libraries, namely librarian, collection, management management and increase the interest in reading fondness for Dayah Putri Muslimat Samalanga santri, Bireuen Aceh Regency. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the planning, procurement, use, inventory, deletion, inhibiting and supporting factors of libraries in Dayah Putri Muslimat Samalanga. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation study. The data analysis technique was carried out through descriptive interpretation, data validity testing, participation extension, and auditing. Library planning is carried out by musyarawah, organizing is carried out by selecting and mutually agreed upon, implementation is carried out in accordance with the plan and according to their respective duties and supervision is carried out every day such as supervision of circulation and cleaning services, tidiness and discipline. Collection development is carried out by deliberation and submissions from visitors, the supporting factor is the routine allocation of funds from the dayah for the development of the Dayah Putri Muslimat library and librarians who equate it, the inhibiting factor is that the available librarians are not graduates from their fields.
The principal is a manager who is responsible for regulating educational activities in schools both academic and non-academic activities that have a strategic role in improving the quality of education. This study aims to determine the program, program implementation, program evaluation and the obstacles faced by school principals in improving the quality of education at SMA Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. This study uses a descriptive analysis method (Field Research) with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects are principals and teachers. The results of the study show that: (1) School programs are prepared through deliberation, namely long-term programs every four years and short-term programs in one year and do not fully involve all personnel. The quality improvement program is documented in the annual program only and there is no preparation of semester programs and documentation objectives to be a reference for program implementation. (2) The implementation of the program begins with the division of tasks by forming an implementing committee team and each activity has a person in charge and the personnel in charge have never complained about resigning. (3) The evaluation is carried out by a committee team formed by the principal, namely the principal, deputy, senior teacher and supervisor, Providing instruments before conducting an evaluation and then analyzing and then making the next program in the following year, and (4) Obstacles faced by the principal In schools, some teachers do not understand in making lesson plans, teacher discipline is still lacking, students' interest in reading has decreased and infrastructure facilities are still inadequate.
This research aims to examine and analyze the program, the principal in improving the education quality at Inshafuddin Senior High School of Banda Aceh. This research uses the descriptive analysis method with qualitative method. The technique of data collection used are observation, interview, and documentation. The subject of this research are principal, teachers, and supervisors. The result of the research shows that: (1) The preparation of theof the principal's program includes: a long-term annual program of eight years, a medium-term four-year period and a short-term once a year. (2) The implementation of the principal's program is carried out by division of tasks, conducting training and attending MGMP, condukting laboratoryn and library monitoring and axamination at the and of each school year and providing guidance for teavchers who are less participating. (3) Evaluation of the program is carred out by the committe team namely the school principal, representatives, senior teachers and supervisors using the intrument and the results of the evaluation aredocumented. (4) The obstacles include: the efficiency of the discipline and the effeciency of the interest in reading students in accalerating.
