Posyandu is one form of community-based health efforts managed and organized from, by, for and with the community. In South Bengkulu District the lowest number of children under five visited Posyandu at Sulau Health Center. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to the performance of cadres in the implementation of Posyandu in the Sulau Health Center Work Area. This study uses analytic design with a crosssectional design. The sample in this study was total sampling with all cadres of Posyandu totaling 65 cadres. Independent variables are age, education, years of service, attitude and motivation while the dependent variable is the performance of Posyandu. The result of this research showed most of Kader aged >35 years (50,8%), level of secondary education (67,7%), working period more than three years (63%), with less attitude (50,8%), good motivation (53%) and also the best performance (55,4%). Test correlation got results the relationship between age with performance (p=0,004), the relationship between education with performance (p=0,011), the relationship between working period with performance (p=0,000), there are relationship between attitude and performance (p=0,000) and also the relationship between motivation and performance (p=0,000). Logistic regression test result variable the most influence is motivation with value p=0,045 and (OR) is 4,563. There is a relationship between age, education, years of service, attitudes, and motivation with the performance of Posyandu cadres in implementing Posyandu for toddlers and the most influential factor is motivation.
World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 5-25% of preschool-aged children suffer from developmental disorders, one of the factors that influence is the use of gadgets. If a child experiences a social development disorder, it is feared that the child will experience difficulty in adjusting himself, especially with the demands of the group, the child's independence in thinking and behaving, and most importantly the disturbance in the formation of self-concept of a child. This study aims to determine the relationship of the duration of use gadget to the development of preschool children. The research design used in this study was an analytical survey approach cross-sectional where the independent variable duration of use gadget and the dependent variable of child development are collected at the same time. The population was 46 children aged 5-6 years. The results showed that most of the children (56.7%) experienced a dubious development while the test results Chi-Square showed a p-value of 0.008, which means there is a relationship between the duration of the use of gadgets for the development of preschoolers with an OR = 14.875 means that the duration of use gadget in children is 14.875 times affecting children's development. The results of this study are expected parents/guardians to be more selective in giving toys to children, especially permitting to play gadgets.
The 2012 Indonesian Demographic Survey shows that the Maternal Mortality Rate is still high; this is also the case in Seluma District in 2015. Education disparities and regions are obstacles to access and quality of services received, so information technology is needed to facilitate the delivery of information to healthy individuals who do not regularly contact health services through the use of mobile phones. This study aims to determine the effect of Maternal Mobile Message (M3) on knowledge to antenatal care in pregnant women in Seluma District. The design of this study was quasiexperimental with the control group, an intervention in the form of an M3 program for pregnant women containing health promotion messages about pregnancy care. The samples were 60 pregnant women who were selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed with the Wilcoxon test. There was an effect of Maternal Mobile Message (M3) on knowledge (p= 0.00), and attitude (p= 0.00) to antenatal care in pregnant women in Seluma District.
Consumption of enough vegetables and fruits is a simple indicator of balanced nutrition. Efforts to increase public awareness to consume vegetables and fruits, which ideally should begin to be familiarized from an early age (school age) through the family approach and the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS). This study aims to influence the frequency of animated video display on behavioral changes in fruit and vegetable consumption in children of Baitul Izzah Islamic Elementary School in Bengkulu. This study uses a method quasi-experimental with pre and post-test with a sample of 60 third graders in Baitul izzah elementary school, divided into intervention and control groups. Data were analyzed using The Paired-Samples T-Test and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. There is significant influence between the frequency of displaying animated video eating fruits and vegetables with changes in children's behavior in consuming fruits and vegetables.
Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang rawan bencana geologi karena keberadaannya pada area ring of fire. Beberapa kali Indonesia mengalami tsunami. Tahun 2018 terjadi tsunami di Selat Sunda, dampaknya ke perairan Selatan Sumatera dan perairan Barat Provinsi Banten. Pemulihan baik fisik maupun mental akibat tsunami belum seluruhnya selesai dilakukan, virus COVID-19 datang mengancam kesehatan masyarakat. Virus yang menyerang saluran pernafasan dengan keganasan tinggi dan penyebaran yang begitu cepat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mewujudkan suatu pekon dengan kondisi masyarakat yang memiliki pengetahuan dalam menerapkan pola budaya hidup sehat dan bersih dalam mencegah penularan COVID-19. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan interkolaborasi dari tiga profesi, yaitu kesehatan lingkungan, keperawatan dan promosi kesehatan, dibantu 9 mahasiswa. Sasaran kegiatan adalah masyarakat terdampak bencana di Pekon Kunjir Kecamatan Rajabasa Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Bulan November 2020. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi analisis situasi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara univariat dalam persentase dan disajikan dengan pie chart. Alat cuci tangan telah terpasang 6 unit di puskesmas, pasar dan tempat rekreasi dan kemandirian masyarakat dalam bidang kesehatan telah terbentuk. Sebagian besar masyarakat merasa sangat puas (94,12%) terhadap kegiatan pengabdian.
