ÖzBu araştırma; 2007-2009 yılları arasında Trakya Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü deneme alanında, Tesadüf Bloklarında Bölünmüş Parseller Deneme Desenine göre dört tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Denemede; ana parsel olarak çeşitler (Flamura-85, Gelibolu, Kate A-1 ve Guadalupe), alt parsel olarak 4 farklı tohum irilikleri (2.8 mm üstü, 2.8-2.5 mm arası, 2.5-2.2 mm arası ve 2.2-2.0 mm arası) ele alınmıştır. Araştırma; farklı 1000 tane ağırlıklarına sahip dört ekmeklik buğday çeşidinde 4 farklı tohum iriliğinin tane verimi, verim öğeleri ve bazı kalite değerleri üzerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yapılan varyans analiz sonucunda tane verimi, metrekarede başak sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, bin tane ağırlığı ve hektolitre ağırlığı yönünden çeşitler arasındaki farklılık istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Tohum iriliği, her iki yılda da tane verimi, 1000 tane ağırlığı ve hektolitre ağırlığını etkilerken, metrekarede başak sayısını ve başakta tane sayısını etkilememiştir. Tohum iriliği artıkça çeşitlerin tane verimi artmıştır. En yüksek tane verimi 2.8 mm üstü tohum iriliğinden alınırken, en düşük tane verimi ise 2.0-2.2 mm arası tohum iriliğinden alınmıştır. 1000 tane ağırlığı yüksek olan çeşitlerde tohum iriliği artıkça tane verimindeki artış oranının daha fazla olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; bölgede Gelibolu ve Flamura-85 çeşitlerinde 2.5 mm üstü, Kate A-1 çeşidinde 2.2 mm üstü ve Guadalupe çeşidinde ise 2.0 mm elek üstü tohumluklar kullanılmalıdır. The experiment was set up cultivars (Flamura-85, Gelibolu, Kate A-1 ve Guadalupe) as main plot and four different seed size (above 2.8 mm, among 2.8-2.5 mm, among 2.5-2.2 mm and among 2.2-2.0 mm) as subplot. The objective of the study was to determine the effects of four different seed sizes on grain yield, yield components and quality in bread wheat cultivars which have four different kernel weight. According to the results obtained from analyses, differences between cultivars in terms of grain yield, number of spike per square meter, number of kernel per spike, thousand kernel weight, test weight and protein rate were found statistically significant. While grain yield, thousand kernel weight and test weight were affected by the seed size, number of spike per square meter and number of kernel per spike weren't affected by the seed size in both years. The grain yields of cultivars went up with increasing seed size. While the highest yield was obtained with 2.8 mm and above seed size, between 2.0-2.2 mm seed size gave the lowest yield. Tane verimi, bayrak yaprak alanı, bitki örtüsü sıcaklığı, bayrak yaprak klorofil miktarı, yaprak su tutma kapasitesi, kuru madde oranı, bitki boyu, başaklanma ve olgunlaşma gün sayıları gibi özellikler incelenmiştir. AbstractThis study was carried out to determine grain yield, some agricultural and physiological characteristics of the some bread wheat varieties in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 growing seasons in Edirne. Experiment was set up with 22 cultivars employing completely randomized blocks design with four replications. The characteritics such as grain yield, flag leaf area, canopy temperature, chlorophyll content of flag leaf, water content and dry matter of flag leaf, plant height, days to heading and maturating were scored.Except grain yield all other characteristics were statistically significant. The two year average grain yield of all varieties was 721.8 kg/da. The highest grain yield (762.3 kg/da) was obtained from Trakya BVD7 . Tina variety gave the widest flag leaf area (32.96 cm 2 ), while the lowest leaf area was measured in Kate A-1 variety with 18.54 cm 2 . Measurements of canopy temperature and chlorophyll content in flag leaf were performed at heading stage. Canopy temperature varied between 22.66 o C and 25.75 o C, the highest canopy temperature was measured for Tina and, the lowest was for Milena cultivar. The highest and lowest chlorophyll contents (53.41 and 46.89) were measured in Tekirdağ and Golia cultivars respectively. Bereket and Tekirdağ varieties gave the highest leaf water content and dry matter values, respectively. Although canopy temperature positively correlated with flag leaf area, it turned out to be negative with plant height (r=-0,459) and leaf water content r=-0,355). Coeffiicinet of correlation between plant height vs.chlorophyll content and leaf water content were positive but insignificant. Trakya BVD7, and Nina were prominent genotypes with their highest yielding capacities based on the result of the study. Relationship between grain yield versus physiological traits should be further carried out under drought conditions.
ÖzAraştırma, Trakya Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü (TTAE) ile Bulgaristan Karnobat Tarımsal Enstitüsü (KTE) tarafından geliştirilen arpa genotiplerinin verim ve bazı tarımsal özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amacı ile yürütülmüştür. Denemeler, 25 farklı arpa genotipi ile tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 4 tekerrürlü olarak 2006-2007 ve 2007-2008 yıllarında TTAE deneme tarlasında kurulmuştur. Tane verimi, bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başaklanma ve olgunlaşma gün sayıları ve başakta tane sayısı gibi özellikler ve bu özellikler arasındaki korelasyon katsayıları incelenmiştir.Araştırma sonuçları genotipler arasında incelenen karakterlere göre önemli farklılıklar olduğunu göstermiştir. Genotiplerin ortalama tane verimi 647,4 kg/da olmuştur. En yüksek tane verimi (764,9 kg/da) TEA1500-22 hattında hesaplanmıştır. Trakya Bölgesi'nde ikinci ürün yetiştiriciliği için erkencilik önemli bir karakter olup TEA1525-25 en erkenci, DRT136 hattı en geç olgunlaşan genotip olmuştur. Arpada özellikle yatmaya dayanıklılıkta önemli bir karakter olan bitki boyu genotiplerde 91,8 cm ile 101,4 cm arasında değişmiştir. En kısa bitki boyu Veslets, TEA1535-21 ve Sladoran'da ölçülmüştür. Araştırmada genotiplerde başak uzunlukları 6,8 cm ile 9,9 cm arasında değişmiştir. Ortalama başakta tane sayısı 6 sıralı olan genotiplerde 57,8 tane, başakları 2 sıralı olan genotiplerde 27,7 tane olmuştur. Başak yapısı 2 sıralı olan genotiplerde verim ile başak uzunluğu (r=-0,563) ve başaklanma gün sayısı (r=-0,718) arasında olumsuz ilişki belirlenirken, başak yapısı 6 sıralı olan genotiplerde verim ile başakta tane sayısı arasında (r=0,740) olumlu ilişki saptanmıştır. Plant height is another important traits especially for lodging resistance in barley, and plant height ranged between 91,8 cm and 101,4 cm in the genotypes. The shortest plant height was measured in Veslets, TEA1535-21 and Sladoran. The spike length ranged between 6,8 cm and 9,9 cm in genotypes. Grain number per spike was 57,8 in the genotypes with 6 rows and, 27,7 grain in genotypes with 2 rows. The significant and negative correlation coefficient was determined between grain yield with spike length (r=-0,563) and days of heading (r=-0,718) in genotypes which has two rows spike type. Genotypes in Trace Region AbstractThis research was carried out to determination yield and some agronomic traits of the cultivar and advanced lines developed by breeding works. Experiment was set up in 2008-2009 growing season in Edirne and Tekirdağ locations with 25 genotypes in randomized completely blocks design with four replications. Grain yield, plant height, lodging resistance, date of heading and maturity, resistance to powdery mildew and net blotch, 1000 kernel weights, test weight and protein ratio and relationship among these characters were investigated. The results showed that there were significant difference among the genotypes than grain yield and some other investigated characters. Mean grain yield of the genotypes was 524.1 kg/da, and the highest grain yield with 619.5 kg/da was determined in Martı cultivar. Mean yield was 488.3 kg/da and 560.0 kg/da in Edirne and Tekirdağ locations respectively. Plant height ranged between 89.5 cm and 108.5 cm. In Trakya region mainly widely disease is net blotch (Drechslera teres f. teres) and it was determined that almost all genotypes were medium susceptible to net blotch. The highest 1000 kernel wight was determined in TEA1619-20 and test weight in TEA1619-17 lines. According to protein ratio there was significant differences among genotypes and highest protein was determined with 12.5% in Lord cultivar. The highest grain yield was determined in genotypes with early maturating and tall plant height. Identifying positive relationship between lodging resistance and plant height (r=0.871**) it was showed that this character can be used for lodging resistance. Martı, Hasat, TEA1619-17 and TEA1619-20 had most prominent genotypes based on yield and some other investigated characters.
ÖzBu çalışma, Trakya Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsünün ıslah çalışmaları sonucu geliştirilen yulaf genotiplerinin tane verimi, bazı kalite ve tarımsal özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla [2012][2013] This study was carried out at Edirne in 2012-2013 and at Edirne and Kırklareli locations in 2013-2014. Sixteen oat genotypes, and five standard varieties (Checota, Kırklar, Kahraman, Sebat and Y-330) were planted as research materials. It was aimed to determine grain yield, quality characteristics and agronomic traits of some oat genotypes developed by Thrace Agricultural Research Institute. This study was conducted in randomized complete block design technique with four replicates. The traits such as grain yield, plant height, ripening period and thousand grain weight, test weight, protein ratio, groat percentage, husk rate and kernel plumpness (P. sieved 2.2 mm slotted) quality parameter performances of genotypes were investigated. The variations among oat lines and locations for investigated properties were significant. The grain yield, plant height, ripening period, thousand grain weight, test weight, protein percent age, groat percent age, husk rate and kernel plumpness (P. sieved 2.2 mm slotted) of oat lines ranged between; 281. 4-688.3, 349.1-828.0 and 478.2-993.0 kg/da, 110.8-156.0, 141.3-177.5 and 126.3-171.3 cm, 29-37, 33-39 and 36-43 day, 18.7-31.6, 19.6-38.7 and 22.7-45.0 g, 43.9-55.5, 45.7-60.4 and 44.0-60.7 kg/hl, 12.7-15.2, 10.9-14.3 and 9.0-11.3%, 56.1-75.5, 62.5-77.7 and 61.5-78.4%, 24.5-43.6, 20.0-37.3 and 21.6-38.2%, 25.1-81.9, 17.3-93.7% and 28.3-95.5% at Edirne in 2012-13 and at Edirne and Kırklareli Locations in 2013-14 respectively. The oat line 10 had the highest mean grain yield with 734.8 kg/da and followed by oat line 7 with 728.1 kg/da and oat line 15 with 695.6 kg/da in terms of grain yield in all locations. In the control varieties, Kırklar variety had the highest grain yield with 690.2 kg/da followed by Kahraman variety with 686.3 kg/da while the lowest grain yield was obtained from the Y-330 variety with 372.1 kg/da and Checota variety with 397.0 kg/da. Short oat line 15, having short plant height and lodging resistance registered as a cultivar candidate to the Seed Registration and Certification Institution. Height and lodging resistance of oat line 15 was offered to registration in 2014.
