Mathematical Communication Skills (MCS) refer to the students' ability to (1) arrange and link their mathematical thinking through communication;(2) communicate their logical and clear mathematical thinking to their friends, teachers, and others; (3) analyze and assess mathematical thinking and strategies used by others; and (4) use mathematical language to express mathematical ideas correctly. Referring to the importance of MCS in mathematics problemsolving, this study was intended to analyze students' mathematical communication skills in solving a mathematics problem. This study employed a case study design with the participants of the study were 3 students of the eighth-grade of Junior High School in Indonesia. The data of this study was dug up through observation, documentation, and interview. The findings reveal that only 1 out of 3 students' is able to express mathematical ideas; understand, interpret and assess or respond to mathematical ideas; and use terms, notations, and symbols to present mathematical ideas. This study implies that the students' mathematical communication skills are still needed to be developed. This study should be taken into account by the Mathematics teachers to not only teach mathematics but also stimulate the students' mathematical communication skills through creative and innovative learning activities.
Penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar Matematika bangun ruang dan pengolahan data dirancang lebih praktis, efektif, dan mudah dipahami bagi siswa Kelas V SD dengan metode pengembangan model ADDIE. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah: validasi isi materi, validasi desain, angket respon siswa dan guru, dan tes tulis hasil belajar. Teknik analisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kemudian data diolah dengan dikonversi menggunakan rumus yang telah ditentukan. Hasil validasi isi dari ahli setelah dikonversi dengan tabel tingkat pencapaian diperoleh 89,09%. Hasil validasi desain dari ahli setelah dikonversi dengan tabel tingkat pencapaian diperoleh 86,49%. Hasil uji coba lapangan setelah dikonversi dengan tabel tingkat pencapaian diperoleh 91,81%. Sedangkan tes tulis hasil belajar diperoleh ketuntasan sebanyak 29 anak tuntas dengan persentase sebesar 90,625% dari 32 anak. Dari data dan analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pengembangan bahan ajar Matematika kelas V Semester II Sekolah Dasar dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran inkuiri dalam beberapa tingkatan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dengan pengetahuan awal berbeda. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen dengan perlakuan prates-pascates pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Siswa kelas X MAN Sampang dan SMAN 1 Sampang tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel di kelompokkan dalam tiga kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok eksperimen 1 diterapkan pembelajaran inkuiri tingkat 3 (PIT-3), kelompok eksperimen 2 diterapkan pembelajaran inkuiri tingkat 4 (PIT-4) dan kelompok kontrol diterapkan pembelajaran inkuiri tingkat 2 (PIT-2). Uji keterampilan proses sains menggunakan soal obyektif pilihan ganda dengan reliabilitas tes sebesar 0,77. Analisa data menggunakan uji ANOVA. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan pembelajaran inkuiri tingkat 2 (PIT-2), tingkat 3 (PIT-3) dan tingkat 4 (PIT-4) mempunyai perbedaan keefektifan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains. Peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan pengetahuan awal berbeda, paling efektif pada penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri tingkat 3 (PIT-3), siswa dengan pengetahuan awal tinggi dan rendah memperoleh Gain peningkatan lebih tinggi dari penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri tingkat 2 (PIT-2) dan tingkat 4 (PIT-4).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan modul Hybrid termodinamika yang terdiri dari e-modul dan video pembelajaran pada Mata Kuliah Temodinamika yang digunakan oleh perwira siswa di Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya dengan berdasar konsep Self Directed Learning (SDL) sehingga pasis dapat belajar secara mandiri. Pengembangan produk ini menggunakan metode pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil produk divalidasi oleh ahli desain pengembangan, ahli isi dan ahli media pembelajaran. Analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif evaluatif dari penilaian para ahli, teman sejawat dan uji coba lapangan. Hasil perhitungan dari ahli desain pengembangan sebesar 89,5%, ahli isi 88,5%, ahli media pembelajaran 88,8%, penilaian teman sejawat 89,2%, uji kelompok kecil 85,9%, dan uji coba lapangan 81,3%. Secara umum hasil perhitungan menunjukkan produk pengembangan sangat baik dan layak digunakan. AbstractThis study aims to produce development products in the form of E-Modules and learning videos on the Themodynamics Course used by student officers (pasis) at the Surabaya Merchant Polytechnic based on the concept of Self Directed Learning (SDL) so that the pasis can learn independently. This product development uses the ADDIE development method. Product results are validated by development design experts, content experts and learning media experts. The analysis was conducted using evaluative descriptive analysis from the assessment of experts, colleagues and field trials. The results of calculations from development design experts are 89.5%, content experts are 88.5%, learning media experts are 88.8%, peer assessments are 89.2%, small group tests are 85.9%, and field trials are 81.3 %. In general, the calculation results show that product development is very good and suitable for use.
This study aims to develop an online internship guide for the Borg & Gall model as a link and match form for Class XI Alfamart Competency in Online Business and Marketing Skills at SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu. The development model used is the Borg and Gall model. The results showed that the link and match model developed after validation was declared valid. The product in the form of an online internship guide is declared feasible because all aspects of learning are in a suitable category. The link and match model development through prakerin is declared effective because it has met the criteria. The study results met the validity requirements, and the data analysis of observations on the implementation of prakerin carried out by students, SMK, and DUDI showed that the development of the Borg and Gall model was feasible to develop. The analysis of student work-readiness results is in the high category, stating that students are ready to enter the workforce. Based on the results of the research obtained, it concluded that the development of the link and match model through the prakerin developed has met the categories of validity, practicality, and interest so that it is feasible to develop.
