The COVID-19 virus had its origin in the city of Whuan - China. This virus has a clinical picture ranging from asymptomatic infections to severe respiratory conditions. Through this virus it was decreed by the World Health Organization as being a pandemic, with it routine aspects were compromised, causing new solutions to be proposed. Quality of life was one of the factors affected by this virus, especially when we relate to teachers, as they had to adapt to new teaching methods, moving from classroom to virtual teaching. This study aimed to assess the perception of quality of life of teachers from public and private schools through the COVID-19 pandemic. The sample consisted of 35 volunteers, being teachers from public and private schools, of both sexes. As a research instrument, the WHOQOL-BRIEF - an instrument that proposes to evaluate the Quality of Life, applied in a virtual way through the Google Forms platform, is composed of 26 questions subdivided into four domains: Domain I - Physical; Domain II - Psychological; Domain III - Social Relationships and Domain IV - Environment. Descriptive statistics for the results were performed. The level of significance adopted for this study was 5% (P≤0.05). The results found show the physical domain with 70.71 points; psychological domain 68.21 points; social domain 64.52 points and environment domain 64.91. It is concluded that the teachers evaluated in most part have suffered with the aspect involving the quality of life.
A adesão à prática do futebol no Brasil e no mundo tem aumentado e alcançado diferentes povos e culturas presentes na sociedade moderna e tecnológica seja para fins de lazer, entretenimento e rendimento esportivo. Na esfera de rendimento esportivo, a expansão e adesão desta modalidade esportiva aumenta também o risco eminente de lesões associadas ao futebol. Em razão disso, a presente pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar a incidência de lesões musculoesqueléticas em jogadores de futebol profissional no Brasil. Para tanto foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica com levantamento de artigos científicos em março e abril de 2019 nas seguintes bases de dados: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Google Acadêmico e Revistas Indexadas, considerou-se como critério de inclusão os estudos realizados entre 2010 e 2019 no formato pesquisa de campo com jogadores profissionais no Brasil, identificou-se um total de 23 artigos onde 11 foram selecionados para análise e discussão. Para apresentação dos resultados utilizou de quadros apresentando os tipos de lesão mais frequente, local do corpo mais acometido, posição dos jogadores com maior incidência de lesões e principais fatores de riscos. Os resultados apontam o estiramento muscular como tipo de lesão de maior incidência no futebol profissional brasileiro, o segmento corporal mais acometido por lesões são os membros inferiores, a posição de meio campo foi a que obteve maior incidência de lesões, e o excesso de treino, falta de descanso e recuperação inadequada como principais fatores de riscos. Em síntese, conclui-se que, são necessários estudos e programas que busquem a prevenção de lesões no futebol, com intuito de diminuir a incidência e até mesmo a gravidade. Ressalta-se a importância de uma equipe de profissionais da saúde.
The aim of the present study was to compare the perception of Current Body Image (CI) and CI intended to have with Body Mass Index (BMI), Fat Percentage and Physical Activity Practice of Physical Education students. To this end, the present study conducted a quantitative and qualitative research, collecting data on BMI, fat percentage, level of physical activity and HF perception. The data were reported using descriptive statistics and show that these physical education students do not present CI perception compatible with the data presented by the BMI and fat percentage evaluation. The intended HF may be under the influence of sociocultural issues involving aesthetics, the myth of the “healthy body” and the image of an “athlete” or “very trained” person. In general, the data found in this study suggest that Physical Education students practice physical activity regularly and this practice is associated with an expectation around the CI, influencing the intended CI. and this practice is associated with an expectation around the BI, influencing the intended BI.
