Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi profil Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa calon guru fisika semester 1 Universitas Siliwangi yang mengontrak mata kuliah IPBA. Sejumlah 88 mahasiswa melaksanakan projek pengamatan sunspot secara online dan kemudian membuat laporan pengamatan. Laporan tersebut digunakan peneliti sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur KPS mahasiswa. Indikator KPS yang diukur adalah keterampilan mengamati, mengukur, mengkonstruk tabel, serta memperoleh dan mengolah data. Data KPS yang telah dinilai kemudian diinterpretasikan ke dalam kategori sangat tinggi, tinggi, rendah, dan sangat rendah. Kemudian persentase mahasiswa yang berada pada setiap kategori dihitung sebagai pemetaan profil KPS mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa calon guru fisika semester 1 pada projek pengamatan matahari sebanyak 68,75% memiliki KPS pada kategori sangat tinggi, 8,9% pada kategori tinggi, 10,16% pada kategori rendah, dan 12,5% pada kategori sangat rendah.
This study aims to develop an android application-based learning media using powerpoint ispring on gas kinetic theory material to describe the level of validity and practicality. This study uses research and development methods with the ADDIE development model but only carried out 4 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. The results of the validation of learning media that have been developed to develop learning media based on media experts are 4.25 with a very good category, material experts are 4.38 with very good categories, digital experts are 4.23 with very good categories, and experts are 4 ,2 with good category. The learning media that has been developed was tested on 101 students and 2 educators of XI MIPA SMAN 1 Taraju as research subjects and produced product practicality data based on the results of student responses, namely 4.52 with a very good category and the teacher's response being 4.5 with a category very good. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik yang rendah pada pelajaran fisika, akibat dari sulitnya memahami konsep dan cara pembelajaran yang membosankan. Fakta tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata ulangan harian sebesar 52,71 dan persentase peserta didik yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 91%. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dibutuhkan solusi salah satunya adalah dengan memilih model pembelajaran Course Review Hooray (CRH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model CRH terhadap hasil belajar kognitif pada materi gerak lurus. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Populasi adalah siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA Siti Aisyah Kadungora sebanyak dua kelas dan penentuan sampel untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data tes melalui hasil pretest-posttest dengan instrument soal pilihan ganda dan teknik pengambilan data non tes untuk keterlaksanaan model CRH dengan instrument lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis terhadap data pretest dan posttest dengan menggunakan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov dengan nilai t-hitung, diperoleh hasil H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya, penerapan model CRH terbukti berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi gerak lurus. Keterlaksanaan model CRH secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata nilai presentase sebesar 74%.
Higher-order thinking skills are the ability of students to work on and complete knowledge or ideas in the form of new solutions and relate them to what they find themselves. Higher-order thinking skills need to be possessed by all students so that they can solve problems in everyday life. This study aims to describe the high-level thinking skills of high school students in learning physics. This research is qualitative research with a literature study method, and the data analysis technique used is content analysis. The secondary data sources used are articles or journals from research on higher-order thinking skills, totaling ten articles or journals published in 2016 - 2021. The analysis that has been carried out has classified higher-order thinking skills based on physics subject materials, regional distribution, and grade levels which are reviewed according to the following indicators C4 (analyze), C5 (evaluate), and C6 (create or create). The data categorization results show that the average percentage of higher-order thinking skills is still in the low category in each indicator. The conclusions of this study are expected to provide information related to the description of students' higher-order thinking skills in learning physics in high school grades.
