The learning process of chemistry on the hydrocarbon compound material taught by the teacher currently uses 2D-based media (blackboard). Actually, there is nothing wrong with using this blackboard for teachers in teaching, but there are some materials that need to be explained more concretely through direct media or IT-based media. In addition, students also do not understand the learning being taught because there are no facilities for practice so that students still use their imagination in practical learning. From the information obtained through interviews with chemistry teachers, the teacher’s desire to make IT-based media is very high, but they are constrained by the ability to design it. The research method used is the 4D version of Research and Development (RnD) (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results showed that the products produced were valid, practical, and effective for use as a medium in learning hydrocarbons with the respective values of validity, practicality and effectiveness were 0.83, 0.92, and 0.94.
The accumulation files of scholarship recipient candidates currently become a problem in the selection process. Essentially, the accumulated data can be process to produced useful knowledge by utilizing data mining techniques. One of the data mining techniques is clustering that used as a method in this research. The purpose of this research is to generate new knowledge from accumulated data that can be used, one of example is in selecting prospective scholarship recipients. The research method used is the ADDIE version of Research and Development (RnD) (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). In generating new knowledge from a data warehouse, the K-Means Clustering Algorithm is used as a method of partitioning data into one or more clusters. The results indicates that the products produced were valid, practical, and effective to be used as a system in grouping prospective scholarship recipient data with the respective values of validity, practicality, and effectiveness were 0.94, 0.91, and 0.93.
Proses pembelajaran model simulasi yang dilakukan di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer IAIN Bukittinggi secara umum sudah menerapkan student centered learning di kelas lewat diskusi kelompok dan menerapkan berbagai model pembelajaran lainnya. Akan tetapi kondisi pembelajaran yang berjalan saat ini masih terbatas oleh tempat dan waktu serta keterbatasan buku cetak dan non cetak di perpustakaan sebagai referensi pembelajaran jika dibandingkan dengan jumlah mahasiswa yang akan meminjam. Permasalahan lainnya adalah penggunaan smartphone yang sangat pesat saat ini dikalangan mahasiswa belum dimanfaatkan untuk mengakses materi perkuliahan seperti: sumber referensi, tutorial, dan lain sebagainya. Rata-rata mahasiswa menggunakan smartphone hanya untuk mengakses media sosial. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan versi ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk yaitu multimedia berbasis mobile learning dalam pembelajaran model simulasi. Hasil uji produk penelitian didapatkan bahwa hasil uji validitas produk bernilai 0,828 dengan kategori valid, hasil uji praktikalitas bernilai 85,61 dengan kategori sangat praktis dan hasil uji efektifitas bernilai 0,797 yang tergolong dalam efektifitas tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji produk yang didapatkan maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa produk penelitian ini layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran model simulasi.Development of mobile learning-based multimedia in simulation model learning in computer scienceAbstractThe learning process of the simulation model carried out at the IAIN Bukittinggi Computer and Informatics Engineering Study Program has generally implemented student-centered learning in class through group discussions and applying various other learning models. Another problem is that the current very rapid use of smartphones among students has not been used to access lecture materials such as reference sources, tutorials, etc. the average student uses smartphones only to access social media. This research is the research and development method with the ADDIE version (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). This research produces a product in the form of multimedia learning based on mobile learning in a simulation model course. The results of the research product test showed that the product validity test results were worth 0.828 with a valid category, the practicality test results were worth 85.61 in the very practical category, and the effectiveness test results were 0.797, which were classified as high effectiveness. Based on the product test results obtained, it can be stated that the product of this research is suitable for use in learning simulation models.
ABSTRAK Diabetes Mellitus adalah salah satu penyakit yang berhubungan dengan ketidaknormalan metabolisme yang menimbulkan peningkatan kadar glukosa. Faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi terjadinya diabetes mellitus diantaranya yaitu faktor genetik. Penderita diabetes dari mulai tahun 2007 sampai sekarang masih tinggi. Terutama di desa bae sebanyak 23% (89 kasus). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan genetik terhadap kejadian Diabetes Mellitus. Jenis penelitian menggunakan analitik korelasional dengan desain case control. Pengambilan data menggunakan alat ukur kuesioner dan rekam medik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor genetik dan Diabetes Mellitus (p= 0,000; x² hitung= 72,054; OR= 386,400; CI 95%= 43,357-3443,605). Seseorang yang memiliki riwayat keluarga diabetes mellitus dapat meningkatkan risiko Diabetes Mellitus sebesar 386 kali lipat dibandingkan orang yang tidak mempunyai riwayat Diabetes Mellitus. GENETIC RISK FACTOR TOWARDS THE OCCURRENCE OF DIABETES MELLITUS IN BAE VILLAGE KUDUS REGENCY ABSTRACT Diabetes Mellitus is one of the diseases associated with metabolic abnormalities that lead to elevated levels of glucose. Risk factors that affect the occurrence of diabetes mellitus include genetic factors. Diabetics from the beginning of 2007 until now still high. Especially in Bae village as much as 23% (89 cases). This research was to analyze relationship between the genetic and Diabetes Mellitus. Type of research used correlational analytics with case control design. Data collection using questionnaires and medical records. Data analysis technique used chi square statistic test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between genetic factors and Diabetes Mellitus (p = 0,000, x2 count = 72.054; OR = 386,400; 95% CI = 43,357-3443,605). A person who has a family history of diabetes mellitus may increase the risk of Diabetes Mellitus by 386-fold compared to people who do not have a history of Diabetes Mellitus. The importance of education is increasingly felt by the community. Various attempts were made by parents to continue education for their children. This is in line with the government’s efforts to equalize education. Currently, there are quite a lot of scholarships provided by the government in developing education. One of these scholarships is the Bidik Misi Scholarship. This scholarship is in great demand by prospective students because the period for giving is 4 years and is given every semester. Every year the number of applicants for this scholarship continues to grow. The process of selecting scholarship recipients is getting more complicated due to a large number of candidates for scholarship recipients. The purpose of this research is to develop a system that can assist in selecting prospective scholarship recipients. The method used is Research and Development (RnD) with 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The system development takes advantage of data mining in classifying the pile of scholarship applicant data using the C4.5 algorithm. The result of the product test shows that the value of the test of vitality is 0.91 which means valid, the practicality test is 0.89 which means that it is practical and the value of the effectiveness test is 0.93 which means that it is effective. These results are shown by the research results obtained from 7 rules with an accuracy rate of 72.5%.
