<p>Perubahan tersebut mengharuskan remaja untuk melakukan penyesuaian dirinya sendiri maupun sosial. Dengan demikian remaja dituntut untuk membangun komunikasi baik dengan teman sebaya di sekolah maupun diluar sekolah.<em>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan konsep diri terhadap penyesuaian diri pada siswa sma kelas X. metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitaif dengan subjek berjumlah 183 siswa. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala penyesuaian diri, skala dukungan sosial teman sebaya, dan skala konsep diri. teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan pls (partial least square). Hasil analisis antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan konsep diri terhadap penyesuaian diri dengan nilai </em>koefisien regresi (β) 0.67 dan signifikan dengan nilai P-<em>value</em> 0.01 artinya <0.01, artinya berpengaruh positif jika dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan konsep diri meningkat maka penyesuaian diri juga akan meningkat</p><strong><em>Keywords</em>: </strong><em>dukungan sosial teman sebaya, konsep diri, penyesuaian diri</em>
BACKGROUND: Studies in psychology often discuss adolescents with their strong self-esteem as individuals who know themselves. Self-esteem development in adolescents. These adolescents begin to understand the changes of personality development starting from the cognitive aspect or thoughts, emotion, feeling, social, and physical aspects.
AIM: This study consistently aimed at finding comprehensive evidence that positive parenting and friendship affect self-esteem in adolescents.
METHODS: The population of this study was adolescents, namely 173 senior high school students consisting of 72 males and 100 females who were involved and participated in this study. The data analysis, in this study, was the 2 predictors for linear regression analysis.
RESULTS: The results showed that parenting and friendship simultaneously influenced self-esteem formation in adolescents. Partially, the result of this study also showed that parenting affected self-esteem formation in adolescents.
CONCLUSION: In conclusion, friendship showed a significant effect on self-esteem formation in adolescents. Thus, the hypotheses in this study were accepted.
This research aims at testing empirically correlation between parenting and anxiety on higher achiever students. Hypothesis of the research is that there is correlation between parenting and anxiety on higher achiever students.This qualitative study was population study with subjects as many as 80 higher achiever students. Data were collected using scales, parenting scale and anxiety scale. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation. The result of the study shows that there was significant correlation between parenting and anxiety on higher achiever students with rxy = 0.870 and (p<0.01) thus the hypothesis of this study was accepted.
