From the research results, there are data indicating that students' learning abilities can be further enhanced by introducing smart games and integrating the best recommended approach to improve student achievement in various mathematical topics is the use of technology in the teaching and learning process. Methods The data mining approach can be further enhanced to generate knowledge and provide intelligent assistance to students. Real and larger data sets can be simulated to analyze the behavior of the recommended data mining approach (causar). The purpose of this study to see is to see the importance of understanding the concept of Geogebra for learning Mathematics. The result of this research is that GeoGebra enhances lessons and activity design has the advantage to inspire students towards their learning and hence to improve their academic achievement GeoGebra has been found to be an important tool in teaching and learning mathematics in secondary and higher education.
The use of learning media is one way to support the government in socializing the era of industrial technology 4.0. Learning media as a solution to students' low mathematical communication skills. One of the learning media that is proven to be able to improve students' mathematical communication skills is Autograph. This paper describes how much influence the use of Autograph learning media has on students' mathematical communication skills. The method used in this research is experimental. Before using the Autograph learning media, a pretest was carried out and after using the Autograph learning media, a post-test was carried out to determine the increase in students' mathematical communication skills. From the results of the pre-test and post-test data analysis, it was found that the Autograph learning media had a positive effect on mathematical communication skills. The average of students' mathematical communication skills taught with the help of Autograph media was higher. The use of Autograph learning media in learning makes students more active in discussions, dares to express opinions using mathematical language to express mathematical ideas correctly and can interpret mathematical data in the form of pictures or graphics.
From the research results, there is data that the use of computers in learning is still limited to the use of powerpoint. Mathematics teachers still face difficulties in making learning media and teaching materials. The solution offered is to provide GeoGebra application training to mathematics teachers to assist them in the process of learning mathematics. The purpose of this activity is to increase teacher and student understanding of the role of mathematics learning media and increase the knowledge and skills of teachers and students about good and explorative virtual learning media (mathlet). The method that will be carried out in this activity is through several stages, namely direct observation, interviews, presentations, and question and answer. The result of this activity is that teachers can improve the quality of the learning process in accordance with the current digital era. and knowledge gained in training, teachers are more creative and innovative in creating learning processes, teachers have understanding and knowledge of virtual learning media, teachers can use the GeoGebra application to create virtual learning media, teachers can create visual media, teaching materials, and assessment instruments relating to algebra and geometry.
This study aims to know (1) the effect of Geogebra assisted blended learning in enhancing spatial geometry ability, (2) the response of the learning. This research method uses quantitative research with a quasi type experimental design and research design using the pretest-posttest control group. The subject was Mathematics Education students on State Institute of Islamic Religion (IAIN) Takengon who studied field and space analytic geometry in the academic year 2019/2020. Data collection using tests and questionnaires that are validated by experts. The data hypothesis test uses the t-test involving requisite pretests (normality and homogeneity) beforehand. The results showed that Geogebra assisted blended learning was effective in enhancing geometry spatial ability, and students’ response was also very good.
The purpose of this research was to determine the students' skill in writing recount text at Senior High School 8 Jambi City. This research was conducted at Senior High School 8 Jambi City. The research design used quantitative. The approved in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this research was students of class XI at Senior High School 8 Jambi City. The sample of this research was 36 students of class XI IPA 1 selected using simple random sampling. This research used a written test instrument, a written test in the form of an essay test to make a recount text about best experience in holiday. The technique of data collection of this research used test as a research instrument. The technique of data analysis of this research are tabulating the students’ score, calculating the students’ score, and give the score classification. This finding shows that students’ skill in writing recount text are based on generic structure in writing recount text. First, the orientation with an average of 8,94 or including excellent criteria, second, the events with an average of 9,17 or including excellent criteria, and lastly, the reorientation with an average of 7,28 or including good criteria. From the results of the data, 2 generic structure are classified as excellent and 1 generic structure that classified as good. This proves that at the level of students’ skill in writing recount text academically, they are still classified as excellent.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
