Abstract. This research increases motivation for millennial youth emigration through digital propaganda. By looking at the fact that young people today are familiar with the word hijrah and social media, but not all users use social media as a tool to emigrate. People only know the meaning of migrating without applying it in everyday life. In addition, with the advancement of technology can make the propaganda model more interesting, developing fast and dynamic. Researchers use descriptive qualitative and literature studies through questionnaires, then collect information from journals, books and online media, it is hoped that this can provide information about the motivation of young people to emigrate. The results of this study proved that using digital propaganda can increase the motivation of the hijrah youth millennial, judging from the results of the questionnaire stated 72% the use of digital media in the spread of da'wah it’s optimal. <p>This article focuses on an inaccurate understanding of Islam that causes hatred, anxiety, and unfounded fear of the Muslim community. On account of this view of Islam, Muslims face hostility, discrimination, intolerance, and racism. This attitude is increasingly seen in mass media propaganda that presents a partial and inaccurate view of the religion. Islam is presented as a violent belief system and is responsible for radicalism and terrorism. The media greatly influences social reality. They function as a spectacle, but they also influence public opinion on a range of issues. The research design of this paper uses literature review with descriptive analysis. The results show that internalizing the Islamic value of <em>rahmatan lil alamin</em> (“being a mercy to the world”) through the media is a solution that can rectify misconceptions about Islam. Along with the foundation of <em>amar ma’ruf nahi munkar </em>(“enjoining the good and forbidding the evil”), the value of “being a mercy to the world” can transform people into educators (<em>muaddib</em>), agents of correct information (<em>musaddid</em>), reformers (<em>mujaddid</em>), unifiers (<em>muwahhid</em>), and fighters (<em>mujahid</em>).</p><p> <em></em></p><p>Artikel ini fokus terhadap pemahaman Islam dengan perspektif yang salah, sehingga menimbulkan kebencian, kecemasan, dan ketakutan yang tidak berdasar serta berlebihan kepada individu maupun komunitas Islam. Akibatnya timbul permusuhan, diskriminasi, intoleransi, dan rasisme. Sikap ini semakin terlihat melalui propaganda media massa yang menampilkan kontroversi yang tidak benar dan parsial terhadap Islam, media merepresentasikan Islam dengan kekerasan dan radikal melalui fenomena terorisme. Kehadiran media sangat berpengaruh terhadap realitas sosial yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tontonan tetapi menjadi tuntunan yang menggiring opini publik dalam merubah sikap, pandangan, dan perilaku. Desain penelitian menggunakan <em>literature review</em> dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam <em>rahmatan lil alamin</em> melalui media merupakan solusi dalam meluruskan pemahaman yang keliru tentang Islam, yang berfungsi sebagai pendidik (<em>muaddib</em>), agen informasi yang benar (<em>musaddid</em>), menjadi pembaharu (<em>mujaddid</em>), pemersatu (<em>muwahhid</em>), dan pejuang (<em>mujahid</em>) dengan dasar <em>amar ma’ruf nahi munkar.</em></p>
This study aims to offer a model for implementing religious moderation learning in higher education to stem contradictory ideologies with Islamic teachings such as liberalism, literalism, and radicalism. Their existence has recently significantly disrupted the stability of religious harmony in Indonesia. The current reality of extreme and exclusive religion is spreading in the academic world. Students who only use rational logic without religious texts will be trapped in radical logical reasoning, so they tend to be liberal. On the other hand, students who only adhere to religious texts without being accompanied by critical logic will be dogmatic in understanding religious texts literally. The existence of an understanding of Islam with two camps of liberal and literal interpretation is not in line with a moderation in religion which will obscure the actual value of Islamic teachings. This ideology will produce radical religious perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors. The research approach is research and development, which collaborates quantitative and qualitative. Methods of collecting data through interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The selection of respondents and informants through random sampling technique, while data analysis using the Miles and Huberman approach.
A new phenomenon that is developing in the world of tourism is halal tourism. Halal tourism is tourism which in its implementation refers to the Islamic law, both in terms of accommodation, attractions, facilities, services and the tourist attractions it self. In Bandung regency, halal tourism is not well known and is still in the preparation stage of development, so that attention and concern for halal tourism in this regency has not yet been developed. Bandung regency Government is in the process of making policies related to the concept of halal tourism. The purpose of this study is to analyze the opportunities and challenges of halal tourism development in Bandung regency and its impact on tourist arrivals to Bandung regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. Research data were collected using interview techniques, observation of events in the community and literature studies. The results of this study illustrate that Bandung Regency has a great opportunity in applying the concept of halal tourism because the majority of residents and tourists are Muslim, while the challenges need to be synergized with the policies of a leader, manager and various elements of the community to support Islamic accommodation, attractions, facilities and services .
Abstract:Strengthening spiritual values through the dimensions of tasawwuf learning is one of the efforts to improve changes in students' moral mentality. Sheikh Ali Jum'ah as a charismatic cleric at Al-Azhar University and a former Mufi of Egypt, one of the international scholars who payed attention to the discourse, according to him, instilling modern Sufistic values of Sufism in the young generation can be a supporter of forming a young age who is religious and has good intellect. This article aims to examine and explore the Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah to increase individual piety and discuss the relevance of its Sufistic theory to the learning of Islamic Religious Education in Higher Education. Using a literature review approach, his works are collected from various sources and studied interactively through the Islamic studies approach. The primary reference source is his work entitled At-Tharīq Ilā Allah, while the second reference refers to other books. The Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah is built on six main principles where the axis is Allah Al-Makshd Al-Kulli. At the practical level, repentance, tafakkur, tadabbur, and consistency in dhikr are the primary tools for ma'rifatullah. Manhaj, the existence of a Murshid and a Salik are the essential pillars in the world of Sufism. Its sufistic relevances in PAI learning which substantially impacts on strengthening the five main components, namely learning objectives, learning materials, learning approaches, lecturers, and students in higher education.Abstrak: Memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritualitas melalui dimensi pembelajaran tasawwuf merupakan salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki perubahan mentalitas akhlak pada siswa. Syeikh Ali Jum’ah sebagai ulama kharismatik Universitas Al-Azhar dan manfat Mufi Mesir salah satu ulama internasional yang menaruh perhatian terhadap diskurus tersebut dimana menurutnya menanamkan nilai-nilai sufistik tasawwuf modern terhadap generasi muda dapat menjadi penyokong membentuk generasi muda yang religius serta memiliki intelektualitas baik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah serta menjelajahi konsep sufistik Alī Jum’ah dalam rangka meningkatkan kesalehan individu serta mengkaji relevansi teori sufistiknya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Perguruan Tinggi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan literature review, karya-karya beliau dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber serta dianalisis secara interaktif melalui pendekatan Islamic studies. Sumber rujukan primer diambil dari karyanya berjudul At-Tharīq Ilā Allah sedangkan rujukan sekunder merujuk kepada kitab-kitab yang lainnya. Konsep Sufistik Alī Jum’ah dibangun atas enam kaidah utama dimana porosnya adalah Allah Al-Makshūd Al-Kulli. Tataran praktisnya, aktivitas taubat, tafakkur, tadabbur, dan konsistensi dalam dzikir menjadi alat utama menuju ma’rifatullah. Manhaj, keberadaan Mursyid dan Seorang Salik merupakan rukun-rukun esensial dalam dunia tasawwuf. Relevansi sufistiknya dalam pembelajaran PAI berdampak kuat terhadap penguatan empat komponen utama yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dosen, serta mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi.
