Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan respon milenial terhadap komunikasi publik pemerintah mengenai kebijakan Omnibus Law. Salah satu fungsi komunikasi publik adalah membentuk dan meningkatkan citra (Goldhaber, 1993). Dalam proses pembentukan tersebut tentu diperlukan pemahaman informasi yang efektif dan benar sehingga apa yang disampaikan oleh komunikator bisa sama persepsinya dengan komunikan atau khalayak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif kepada 300 orang mahasiswa yang tersebar di Provinsi DKI Jakarta untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh komunikasi publik pemerintah mengenai kebijakan Omnibus Law. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon milenial terhadap komunikasi publik pemerintah mengenai kebijakan Omnibus Law paling tinggi adalah perhatian atau attention dan paling rendah adalah di pengambilan keputusan atau decision. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah komunikasi publik pemerintah harus dimaksimalkan sehingga semua aspek dalam komunikasi publik tersampaikan dengan baik dan efektif.
AbstrakLiterasi media yang efektif akan berimplikasi kepada kualitas dan kinerjamahasiswa. Pada aspek lain efektivitas literasi media mahasiswa dapat dilihat daridisparitas gender. Disparitas ini dapat dilihat pada data sebagai berikut: pertamapersentase penduduk laki-laki usia 15 tahun ke atas yang bisa membaca danmenulis dari data tahun 2007 sampai dengan tahun 2011 masih berkisar di angka95 persen. Sementara itu, persentase penduduk perempuan yang melek hurufmengalami peningkatan dari tahun 2007 sampai 2010 sebelum akhirnyamengalami sedikit penurunan pada tahun 2011. AMH perempuan tahun 2007adalah 88,62 persen meningkat menjadi 90,52 persen tahun 2010 dan kemudianmenurun menjadi 90,07 persen pada tahun 2011. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimanaefektivitas literasi media pada mahasiswa universitas di Kabupaten dan KotaCirebon dari perspektif gender. Demikian sehingga diketahui bahwa sarana danprasarana perpustakaan dan teknologi informasi komunikasi yang ada padauniversitas-universitas yang ada di Kabupaten dan Kota Cirebon belum cukupmemadai untuk meningkatkan efektivitas literasi media para mahasiswanya.Peminatan mahasiswa untuk mengunjungi perpustakaan dan mengakses sumbersumberliteratur pendukung perkuliahannya secara terkait didukung oleh saranadan prasarana yang ada. Hal ini tentu saja berbanding lurus dengan frekuensikunjungan mereka ke perpustakaan di kampusnya masing-masing. Padagilirannya terlihat bahwa mahasiswa yang mengakses perpustakaan dan pirantiteknologi informasi komunikasi yang menyertainya secara keseluruhan lebihefektif didominasi oleh kaum perempuan.Kata kunci: sarana prasarana, perpustakaan, teknologi informasi komunikasi,literasi media, gender.AbstractEffective media literacy will have implications on the quality and performance ofstudents. The presence of youth organizations in the community of Mekar Jaya Ciawi Gebang Village has shown its positive role, but it is not yet maximized. The core management of the youth organization has made improvements and changes to the structure to maximize the roles and functions of members to be more active and show good communication so that they can foster a sense of togetherness and cohesion among other members. This study has the following objectives: 1) to find out how the influence of organizational communication climate on Karang Taruna Tunas Jaya, 2) to find out how the influence of group cohesiveness on Karang Taruna Tunas Jaya, 3) to find out how much influence organizational communication climate has on group cohesiveness Karang Taruna Tunas Jaya. The research methodology used is descriptive quantitative with survey method. The population of this study amounted to 60 people using census sampling technique. The research data processing technique uses descriptive inferential statistics, namely the average score value to calculate the value of the frequency distribution, while to calculate the correlation using Spearman rank correlation statistics, one-way hypothesis testing with t-test and determinant coefficients. The results of this study are: 1) the influence of organizational communication climate on Karang Taruna Tunas Jaya is classified as good, the results show an average value of 47.3 where the value after entering the range of 40.8 - 50.4 so that it is declared good, 2) the effect of cohesiveness group at Karang Taruna Tunas Jaya is good where the results of the study show an average value of 63.51. This value is included in the interval table in the range of 54.4 - 67.2 so that it can be declared good, 3) the value of the influence of the organizational communication climate on group cohesiveness is 0.376 or 14.1% while the remaining 85.9% is influenced by other factors that are not discussed in this study.
