Understanding the concept as one of the keys to success in studying science especially Physics, so do not have to memorize the formula but enough just by understanding the concept alone. Based on observations during community research activities, some positive results were obtained: Participants showed very high attention to the material using PhET Simulation. From the preliminary test in cycle I the pretest score of about 10% is able to answer to 77.5%, while in cycle II the value of the dropper about 20% increased to 97.5%. While for the activity of students which cover the realm of ability to use PhET Simulation from 73,75% in cycle I increase to 85% in cycle II, In enthusiasm Attitude enthusiasm using PhET Simulation from 75% in cycle I increased to 86,25% in cycle II, In the field of cooperation in the group using PhET Simulation of 72.5% in the first cycle increased to 86.25% in cycle II. In the realm of the ability to use worksheets in PhET Simulation from 75% in cycle I increased to 88.75% in cycle II. In the sphere of participation in the discussion using PhET Simulation from 75% in the first cycle increased to 86.25% in cycle II. The result of the research is the increasing of concept comprehension and the increasing of student learning activity.Keywords: PhET Simulation, Conceptual Understanding, Learning Activities. AbstrakPemahaman konsep sebagai salah satu kunci keberhasilan dalam mempelajari sains khususnya Fisika, sehingga tidak harus menghapal rumus tetapi cukup hanya dengan memahami konsepnya saja. Berdasarkan pengamatan selama kegiatan penelitian masyarakat, diperoleh beberapa hasil yang positif diantaranya adalah: Para peserta menunjukkan perhatian yang sangat tinggi terhadap materi dengan menggunakan PhET Simulation. Dari Tes awal pada siklus I nilai pretes dari sekitar 10% yang mampu menjawab menjadi 77,5%, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai pretes dari sekitar 20% meningkat menjadi 97,5%. Sedangkan untuk aktivitas mahasiswa meliputi ranah kemampuan menggunakan PhET Simulation dari 73% pada siklus I meningkat menjasi 85% pada siklus II. Pada ranah Sikap antusias menggunakan PhET Simulation dari 75% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86,25% pada siklus II. Pada ranah kerjasama dalam kelompok mengunakan PhET Simulation dari 72,5% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86,25% pada siklus II. Pada ranah kemampuan menggunakan lembar kerja PhET Simulation dari 75% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 88,75% pada siklus II. Pada ranah partisipasi dalam siskusi mengunakan PhET Simulation dari 75% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86,25% pada siklus II. Hasil dari penelitian adalah bertambahnya pemahan konsep dan meningkatnya aktivitas belajar mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: PhET Simulation,Pemahaman konsep, Aktivitas belajar.
In fact, the teaching materials are still using teaching books, so in the learning media courses will be developed based on digital art teaching materials at Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan. In the development of the teaching materials contain teaching materials tailored to the curriculum that applies with the tools and materials contained in the environment. Research objectives to know the expert opinion on the feasibility test and influence of the development of digital art-based teaching materials. Research and Development (R&D) method of ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). For the average result of expert validator assessments on this study covers aspects of feasibility standards based on BSNP by 3.27, then the validity criteria is quite good (quite valid and need revision). The result of student learning creativity Assessment was obtained at 3.18, hence the creativity category is creative.
This research aims to gain a practical guidebook on integrated SCIENCE Class VII semester odd with the utilization of the natural resources of South Labuhan Batu Regency. (1) the test to find out the feasibility of integrated SCIENCE practical guidebook on Class VII semester has developed an odd fit standard BSNP. (2) to find out the opinions of teachers and professors against the practical guidebook on integrated SCIENCE Class VII semester has developed an odd fit standard BSNP. The entire sample is selected by means of purposive sampling. Samples are defined in this study (1) Professor of biology, physics and chemistry University of Muhammadiyah South Tapanuli S2 education criteria amounted to 3 people. (2) integrated SCIENCE teachers in district of South Labuhan Batu Regency Torgamba from some schools with Undergraduate education criteria. The results of the deliberations of the research (1) to the average value of all aspects of the standard of eligibility based on the criteria of 4.30 BSNP is validitasnya { very valid and do not need revision (very decent)}. (2) the standard eligibility content was of 297 as well as an average rating of 4.30 by respondents lecturer and 613 and the average rating of 4.44 by the respondent teachers IPA. The standard language is the feasibility of 193 and an average rating of 4.29 by the respondents to the lecturer and 356 and the average value of 3.96 by respondents to the teachers of the IPA. The eligibility standards of presentation is of 206 as well as an average rating of 4.43 by respondents lecturer and 415 and the average rating of 4.32 by respondents to the teachers of the IPA. The eligibility standard kegrafikan is 476, as well as the average value of 4.29 by the respondents to the lecturer and 963 and the average rating of 4.34 by respondents to the teachers of the IPA.
Video is an electronic media that is able to combine audio and visual technology together so as to produce a dynamic and interesting impression. The purpose of the study was to find out the assessment of expert validators in viva video learning media feasibility test based on BSNP questionnaire. The benefits of this research provide interesting and enjoyable learning activities so that students become more active in learning, as well as enrich the teacher’s knowledge about alternative learning media. The average result of all aspects of the standardized due diligence based on the BSNP questionnaire before revision 3.12 with validity criteria is quite good {Quite valid and needs revision}. Meanwhile, after revision 3.76 with validity criteria both {Valid and do not need revision (feasible)}.
