The article is devoted to the analysis of changes in students' motivational priorities for physical education under the influence of crisis situations in Ukraine. The number of hours devoted to the discipline "Physical education" has been decreasing in recent years, which may have a negative impact on the health of students. However, even with the available small number of practical classes, it is necessary that students attend them systematically, supplementing these classes with independent training in their free time from studying. A conscious and voluntary increase in the level of one's own motivation for regular physical activity contributes to the systematic use of physical culture and sports in a person's everyday life and, as a result, has a positive effect on his health. The authors proposed a questionnaire, which included four blocks of motives, namely: health motives, educational and communicative motives, psychologically meaningful and aesthetic motives. The initial survey was conducted in 2013, and repeated during the 2020 and 2022 academic years during crisis situations. Global digitization, restrictions on quarantine due to Covid-19 and the introduction of martial law in Ukraine have brought significant changes to the universal life of young people and their physical activity, in particular. A study of changes in motivational priorities affecting students' attendance at physical education classes in recent years was conducted. The impact of quarantine restrictions due to Covid-19, as well as the introduced martial law in the country, on the physical activity of students was analyzed. The dynamics of changes in motivational priorities that affect students' interest in attending classes in the discipline "Physical Education" are determined.
The problem of determining the physical fitness of 1st year students and identifying their risk of developing cardiovascular disease in the first stage of physical education before the students’ medical examination is considered. During the analysis of literature sources, test tasks were selected in order to investigate and assess the level of physical fitness of students according to the methodology proposed by the Jyvaskyla University (Finland) and the risk of cardiovascular disease according to A. Z. Zapesochny’s methodology. 670 first-year students participated in the study. The assignment to evaluate fitness levels consisted of recording the walking time at a maximal pace over a 2 km distance and determining the post-exercise heart rate. The evaluation of the results was performed against the fitness level index. When testing according to Zapesochny’s methodology, the following indicators characterising risk factors for cardiovascular disease were considered: body weight and length, gender, blood pressure, hereditary factors, bad habits and physical activity. All the results, which were evaluated in scores, were combined to calculate the cardiovascular disease development risk level. An analysis of the results showed that 32.24% of first year students had a high level of physical fitness and only 8.21% had a low level. In 48.07% of the tested persons, the risk of cardiovascular diseases was absent. The explicit and maximum risk observed in 2.98% of the tested persons. This data helped in the first stage of physical education to select an appropriate physical activity for the students without risk of harm to their health prior to undergoing medical check-up.
The article is devoted to the problem of organizing the training process in boxing classes in higher education institutions. Determining the features of the psychomotor state of boxing students and its consideration in the dynamics of training allows optimizing the process of physical training of future professionals and contributes to the achievement of planned sports results. A specialized training program has been developed, which consists of nine complex specialized physical exercises aimed at developing the coordination qualities of boxing students. The aim is to investigate the state of psychomotor state of boxing students under the conditions of using specialized coordination physical exercises. A significant positive dynamics of psychomotor state indicators of boxing students has been established under the condition of using specialized physical exercises of coordination orientation. The obtained results expand the scientific information on the need to take into account the psychomotor state of students engaged in boxing. The existing programs of the training process have been supplemented, which are aimed at improving the coordination qualities of boxing students. In the context of modeling the modern system of physical education in higher education institutions, the effectiveness of the use of a sectional form of organization of classes has been proved, which involves the consideration of individualized features of the psychomotor state of student.
