The article analyzes Mampujan’s issue of redress [incidente de reparación] to show how the conception of damage that accompanies and justifies this space allows us to trace a particular configuration of being in common. Mampuján is a community that re-presents itself in and through that damage insofar as the latter intensifies the impossibility of fixing an identity for the community. This impossibility is discussed as a movement of withdrawal, always unrepairable and irredeemable. The text also shows how this movement echoes the way in which Nancy’s “Deconstruction of Christianity” calls on us to problematize the rigidity of our traditional conceptions of Justice. All of the above is done in the light of a question regarding the possibility of reconciliation in the context of the Colombian ‘Justice and Peace’ Law.
