Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara Efikasi Diri dengan Pengambilan Keputusan Karir pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta (UMBY). Subjek penelitian adalah 50 mahasiswa tingkat akhir (angkatan 2014) Fakultas Psikologi UMBY. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan yang positif antara Efikasi Diri dengan Pengambilan Keputusan Karir pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Psikologi. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Skala Efikasi Diri dan Skala Pengambilan Keputusan Karir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil korelasi rxy 0,357 (p < 0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara Efikasi Diri dengan Pengambilan Keputusan Karir pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Psikologi UMBY. Sumbangan efektif Efikasi Diri terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Karir sebesar 12,8%, sisanya dipengaruhi faktor-faktor lain sebesar 87,2%.
The industrial world is transforming towards the era of revolution 4.0 and society 5.0. In this era, digital technology is applied and becomes the center of human life. Demand that the millennial generation who currently dominates the job market in Indonesia have adversity intelligence so that they can be more engaged in their work and have a positive impact on company performance and development. This study aims to determine the relationship between adversity intelligence and work engagement in the millennial generation. Subjects in this study were 214 employees, aged 20-39 years who live in Yogyakarta and have worked at least one year. The data collection method in this study uses a Likert scale model. Data were collected using the Work Engagement Scale and the Adversity Intelligence Scale, by sending the scale via Google Form to respondents. The data analysis technique used is the product-moment correlation from Karl Pearson. Based on the data analysis, the correlation coefficient (R) was obtained for 0.820 (p <0.01). These results indicate that there is a very significant positive relationship between adversity intelligence and work engagement among millennial employees living in Yogyakarta. This study provides an overview of the level of work engagement and adversity intelligence for millennial generation employees, so as to increase the work engagement of millennial generation employees by increasing their adversity intelligence.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional pada atasan untuk peningkatan komitmen organisasi karyawan di hotel X Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah 34 karyawan Hotel X Yogyakarta yang merupakan subordinat atau bawahan sedangkan yang diberikan intervensi berupa pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional adalah para Head of Departement (HOD) yang berjumlah 8 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala komitmen organisasi yang mengacu pada organizational commitment questionnaire (OCQ) yang dikembangkan oleh Allen & Meyer (1990), yang terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu: komponen afektif, komponen kontinuans dan komponen normatif. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest-posttest design dengan analisis data uji statistik parametrik, yaitu Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa t = 7,325, (p<0,001) sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Artinya, ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara komitmen organisasi karyawan sebelum diberikan pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional pada atasan dan setelah diberikan pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional pada atasan. AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership training on the employer to increase employee organizational commitment in the hotel X Yogyakarta. The subjects of the study were 34 employees of Hotel X Yogyakarta who are the subordinate, while the intervention of transformational leadership training was the Head of Department (HOD) which amount 8 people. Data collection method used is the scale of organizational commitment that refers to organizational commitment questionnaire (OCQ) developed by Allen & Meyer (1990), which consists of three components, namely: affective components, continuous components and normative components. The experimental design used in this research was one group pretest-posttest design with parametric statistical test data analysis, namely Paired Sample T-Test. The results show that t = 7,325, (p <0.001) so that the research hypothesis is accepted. It means that there is a significant difference between an employee's organizational commitment before given transformational leadership training to superiors and after given transformational leadership training to superiors.
Currently, the whole world is facing the Covid-19 pandemic where almost all sectors are experiencing its impact; one of them is in university related to the learning system. Distance learning becomes one of the decisions taken as a solution so that the learning process in higher education can still be carried out even in pandemic conditions. The hypothesis proposed is that there are differences in Academic Service Quality (ASQ) before and during the pandemic Covid-19 according to lecturers and students. The subjects of this study are 244 people consisting of 78 lecturers and 166 students at University of Mercu Buana Yogyakarta (UMBY). The data collection method uses the SERVQUAL (service quality) scale, which has five dimensions, namely: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This scale is distributed in two versions, namely the lecturer and student version, each of which has a reliability coefficient of alpha (α) of 0.959 and 0.860, and the correlation coefficient between the two is 0.795. The research data are analyzed using two-way ANOVA statistical technique and it is found that the F-test value is 59.15 (p <.01). These results indicate that (1) ASQ before pandemic covid-19 (mean = 96.14) was significantly higher than during the covid-19 pandemic (mean = 90.01) for students and lecturers; (2) ASQ according to lecturers is significantly higher (mean = 103.62) than ASQ according to students (mean = 88.18); (3) There is an interaction of Time (before Covid) and Subjects (Lecturer-Student) on the perception of ASQ which is indicated by an F-test value of 8.27 (p <.05).
