The purpose of this research was to discover the contribution of the use of PDCA (Plan Do Check and Act) on the enhancement in the score of the teaching skills as the measurement of a professional teacher. The study was also undertaken to investigate on the dominant teaching skills that were used in each of the teaching steps. The research sample consisted of 12 teacher candidates who participated in the lecture of Micro Teaching at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in the round semester in 2012. The 12 teacher trainees were divided into four groups. The application of the PDCA circle was started from the level of the Preparation as the form of Plan, the Implementation level as Do, the level of monitoring process by the group members and teacher supervisor as the form of Check, and the level of small group reflections as the form of Act. The study employed mixed approach design. The method of analysis highly depended on the intensity of the reflections which was in line with the findings from FGD which analyzed the data based on the quality check points. The findings showed that although the application of the PDCA circle in the lecture of Micro Teaching gives the contribution of about 2.54 at the scale of 1 to 4; however, the contributions of the PDCA system to each of the groups indicated different score achievements. The reflection discussion of each group contributed to the enhancement of the teaching skills in the teachers. It was also found that every teaching step was dominated by different teaching skills.
This research is motivated by the low activity and student learning outcomes in learning. One alternative that is used to overcome the low activity and learning outcomes of social studies subjects is by using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning model with LKPD assistance. The purpose of this study was to analyze student learning activities and outcomes using the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by Student Workshet (LKPD). This research was an experimental study using the Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. The data were collected using test results of learning and observation sheets to determine student learning activities. The total population was 348 people with a sample size of 78 people with a purposive sampling technique. The method of analysis used the independent sample t-test. The results showed that the student's learning activity was declared active with a high category as long as the cooperative learning model type STAD was assisted by LKPD and the learning outcomes obtained a significance value of 0.000 with a significance level of 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an increase in student activity and learning outcomes using the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by LKPD.
It is suspected that there is a potential human rights abused against woman prisoner’s reproductive health in Riau Province’s prisons. This research aims to identify human rights abused related woman prisoner’s reproductive health and found the affort to reduce it. The methods used to collect the data are interviews, documentation and observation. While Focus Group Discussion (FGD) conducted as part of the analysis stage interactive model (Miles and Huberman). The results showed that there is a potential human rights abused related to woman prisoner’s reproductive health in Riau Province prisons. It is occurred because of limited prison infrastructure, including getting access to goods essential needs during menstruation like pads. Efforts to reduce human rights abused against women prisoners in the prisons while improving compliance and protection of human rights is conducting the capacity building for the staff of prisons, setting clear standards compliance for the health rights of women prisoners, operating system of evaluation and monitoring of the implementation of the health right, adding women prisons officers, and build prisons that were intended for female inmates.
Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif ini memperoleh data dari responden sebanyak 60 orang guru. Data diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner (angket), kemudian data dianalisis dengan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,784 dan determiniasi sebesar r2 = 0,615 (61,5% ), (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,709 dan determinasinya r2 = 0,503 (50,3%), dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,844 dan determinasinya r2 = 0,712 (71,2%). Dengan demikian pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru kategori tinggi. Peneliti menyarankan perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan mutu guru secara terus menerus, dengan melaksanakan tugas pokok dan fungsinya, melakukan perbaikan dan evaluasi terhadap kinerja guru serta meningkatkan motivasi dan semangat yang tinggi untuk bekerja.
The research aims to get definition of implementation scholarship programe of indigenous community in education department Bengkalis regency. Especially : (1) The scholarship programe of indigenous communities; (2) Focus of programe input the expediency human resource, facilities and infrastructure, fund and programe budget; (3) The process program include the time of implementation programe, the mechanism of implementation program, the factors inhibitors of implementation program and organization of partnership; (4) The product of programe include quality and quantity obtained from organizers scholarship program of indigenous communities and indigenous community’s student. The search method is evaluation search use of qualitative approachment and evaluation model used is CIPP ( Context, Input, Process, and Product). The technics data are documentation, interview, observation. The Source of data research are organizers, executor committe and comitte of verification of data, presentation of data, and conclusion. The data results are : (1) the context the program is said to be good because it is one of communities; (2) In input aspect is said to be good to expendiancy of human resource is the selection of members of the communities. While from the aspect of facilities and infrastructure have not complied with objective standart of indequate feasibility; (3) the program implemtation process is said to be less good because aspects only one that matches the feasibility standart. While from implmentation of time. Programe implementation mechanism is not suitable with guidelines so causing an inhibition of implementation; (4) the results of program implementation is said to be good, quantity and quality participants.
