This study was conducted to identify the awareness of gharar in sale and purchase contracts in the society of Kuala Nerus, Terengganu. Any uncertainties, doubts and shortcomings in the sale and purchase contracts are considered gharar. Using the questionnaire as a research instrument, 120 sets were distributed through online forms among randomly selected Kuala Nerus society. The methodology of this study uses quantititave methods. Descriptive analysis is used to analyse data in percentage, frequency, mean, mode and median. The result of the investigation found that the mean value shown in each variable is high level, the value of mean part B is 4.233 and part C is 4.3833 (high). At the end of this study, the researcher suggested to conduct a more in-depth questionnaire on the understanding of gharar in the sale and purchase contracts. Researchers also suggest that other researchers develop their research aspects more widely, not only at the district level but also at the comparative level by state.
Purpose: Teachers’ roles in delivering classroom instructions and executing lessons in this 21st century is much bigger than assumed by many who are not in the teaching field. Some people perceived teaching is a stressful job and those who do not have the passion would give up after a certain number of years. Many have opted for early retirement and this number has increased year by year. Thus, this study aims to analyze the factors (health, school management and workload) that influence teachers’ intention towards early retirement. Design/Methodology/Approach: 152 teachers were chosen from four cluster schools in Dungun, Terengganu and online questionnaires were distributed among them using Stratified Random Sampling Method. The data was analyzed using SPSS. Findings: The results show only teachers’ health influence them towards early retirement intention. Meanwhile, the other factors are viewed as a challenge in the teaching world and would not influence them to opt for early retirement. Implications/Originality/Value: This finding will assist the Ministry of Education in taking actions, to circumvent teachers from leaving their profession before reaching the compulsory retirement age. As a result, the school’s management will focus on improved alternatives in managing the teachers’ welfare and controlling the factors of early retirement among teachers.

This study aims to analyze the acceptance of students towards the implementation of the Basic Principles of Islam (CTU 101) course curriculum which is one of the Islamic Study Courses in UiTM (MARA Institute of Technology). The focus of this study is to investigate the level and relationship between students’ acceptance in terms of content, teaching and evaluation. This survey study involved 300 students who were randomly chosen and a set of questionnaires was utilized as the instrument of study. A pilot study was conducted among 30 students to determine the reliability of instrument used by using Alpha Cronbach with value 0.960, and value 0.964. A set of questionnaire consists of part A (demography background of participants) and part B, C, D and E (questions of variables) was used to collect data for this study. Data were analyzed by using Software SPSS version 17.0 (Statistic Packages For Sosial Science) and reported by using of descriptive statistics of min, percentage and median, and also by making inferences to analyzed the relationship among the variables. The findings of study show that participants positively accepted CTU 101 course with content min average of content 4.1733 (high), teaching 4.0693 (high) and evaluation 3.9996 (high). Besides that, correlation Pearson analysis was used to analyzed the relationship among the variables and for this study, it was found that significant relationship between the acceptance of participants with the content, teaching and evaluation aspect of CTU 101 course. The high score of each aspect or variable and the significant relationships show that students positively accepted the course. However, a few aspects of the course should be given attention and a few improvements should be done in order to give students good perception towards Islamic Study Course.
