This study aims to determine the description of the application of fingerprint electronic attendance at the Center for Early Childhood Education and Community Education in South Sulawesi. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The study population was all employees, amounting to 136 people because of the large population, this study conducted 50 percent sampling so that the sample was 68 people. The techniques used in data collection are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is presented through a frequency table and processed through a score calculation technique. The data analysis technique in this study uses the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of the application of fingerprint electronic attendance at the Center for Early Childhood Education and Community Education in South Sulawesi has been implemented very well or very effectively. These results are seen from the aspect; target achievement, adaptability, job satisfaction, responsibility.
This research is conducted to obtain a description of students' difficulties in understanding and applying Pythagorean theorem based on the onto-semiotic approach. This research applies a qualitative approach with phenomenology interpretation design. Research data were collected using test and interview methods. The research result was deducted from students' answer sheets and interviews. Participants involved in this study were as many as 25 students of UPI Lab School Junior High School Bandung, who had learned Pythagorean theorem, 4 of which also participated in the interview. It showed that students found it complicated to comprehend definition, describe symbols or notations of mathematical objects, and interpret mathematical objects. Meanwhile, in solving problems related to the application of the Pythagorean theorem, students could describe procedure, algorithm, and technique in solving questions well.
Seluruh perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3kali.
Teachers' ability in overcoming to student errors is significantly affected by teachers' knowledge. Discussion and studies related to what knowledge teachers should possess have resulted in a theoretical framework. This article aims at describing teacher knowledge to responding student errors in Pythagorean Theorem proof using didactic mathematical knowledge approach. This research applies qualitative design. Five junior high school mathematics teachers in Indonesia participate in this study. Data were collected using written tests on teachers' competence and structured interview. Based on the analysis towards participants' responses, it can be concluded that teacher knowledge to overcome on student errors in Pythagoren Theorem proof is significantly affected by other knowledge components.
